If only double deckers hadn't fallen out of favour in Sydney due to the Leyland Atlanteans and the unions we may have seen locally bodied MCWs but more likely Leyland Olympians. We did get ex Hong Kong 3 axle versions as open toppers for about a decade.

@The-Silent-Rider they were Leopards I think. The rear upright engine would make loading difficult. I'd never seen them. Very unique.

@@jamesfrench7299 Yes your right .. I meant to say Leopard, you just reminded me when you mentioned your location and Leylands, and I doubt old buses and engines wouldn't be scrapped but recycled somehow ... Thanks for correcting me.
