Looking at the nearside back window and the rear window and indicators I'd have guessed it was a Tiger rather than a Leopard.

It's a replica LGOC B Type built by Farrar of Fraddon (from memory) using a shortened Bedford VAM chassis , sounds lovely and pulls well and clocks up the miles around Beamish. I think you will know in your arms after a full shift driving it especially around the Northern Garage turning circle manoeuvre.

Beamish is well worth a visit, I know the ticket price is around £27 but valid for twelve months and you cannot see it all in one day. The new 1950's town with cinema and electrical and record store is a great edition as well as the new houses and even a chip shop and cafe and hair dressers its become very popular part of the attraction. Many thanks for you kind words......

Hi i'm viatron from Sheffield, the classic vintage sound of a Guy Arab Mk.lll with ROE pullman bodywork complete with a deep curved D-shaped staircase window on the rear offside on the lower deck via this type of ROE pullman bodywork also featured on three other ones mounted on the A.E.C. REGENT Mk.lll forward control bus chassis including S.T.D. No.166 which were originally fitted with an A.E.C. 4-speed sliding mesh gearbox with constant mesh third gear when new in 1952 the later re-equipt with the new A.E.C. 4-speed synchromesh gearbox while the Doncaster Corporation No.122 is still fitted with the original A.E.C. 4-speed sliding mesh gearbox with constant mesh third gear via both also fitted with A.E.C. A218 9.6 litre 6-cylinder direct-injection diesel engines. But there is one more ROE Pullman ll bodied A.E.C. Regent Mk.lll type for Leeds Corporation via this one has the deeper version of the later curved D-shaped none-pointed staircase window on the rear offside of the lower deck, plus it's was fitted with an A.E.C./Wilson 4-speed pre-selector gearbox with fluid flywheel & not yet fully restored to it's former glory in the early light blue livery. Thank you for your co-operation on this very special vintage ROE Pullman bodied double deck buses from David Viatron Esquire of crookes in Sheffield.

As a member of KBM I am wondering why you ignored the safety tapes and chains and wandered around the restricted non- public area and boarded a number of vehicles, including my own, to take photos. The safety chains/tapes are there for a reason - safety of the public! This shows an arrogance and disrespect to KNM.
@The-Silent-Rider20 күн бұрын
@jmhale5874 Many thanks for your comment. The only vehicle I stepped aboard was a green double decker as a photographer stepped out of it as I walked past and I asked are you allowed to do that and I got a muffled response, I took one step on and off to check inside no fowl play and quickly stepped off. All my videos are edited and I don't use a huge camera or even take photos and I use a very small camera on a extendable stick to get my footage, so when I go through a window etc , I respect no entry signs and tapes and from my visit I don't think I did anything wrong. I respect my surroundings and other visitors and visiting. the museum I wasn't spoken to by any volunteers to say you shouldn't be there or that's not allowed . Maybe it's the way I edit my video as it's cropped or re shot in a different angle. I apologise to you and the KBM if you thought I had gone through barriers or ropes or chains or entered an no entry to public vehicle .
@jmhale587420 күн бұрын
Thank you for that. You must realise that certain areas are restricted for safety and security. KBM welcomes all visitors and is a very friendly place and nobody would want to jeopardise that.

@jmhale5874 No problem … i like to be fully transparent and rewatched the video again and understand your concern but never crossed any chains or barriers or tapes just followed the approved what i deemed as walking areas just used an extendable pole for video .

I didnt know if it was stalling or juddering or saving fuel, the vibrations and squeeking like it was full of canaries. Worst was that was my bus upon return journey later that evening double trouble with 6363 and the driver got lost took a wrong turn and we had to reverse in a cul-de-sac and try again around the roundabout to take the correct turn.
