Especially when his mother consistently tried to dissuade him from pursuing that path. It wasn’t until after her death that he truly fixated on revenge. So, let's give him some grace and say that his deep-seated childhood traumas fueled his need for revenge. But, does that justify his irrational behavior towards Zeynep at the beginning of the season? Could he have accepted someone treating his mother or sister the way he treated Zeynep? Highly doubtful. Add to that the moment when he didn’t trust her, and she nearly lost her life trying to prove her innocence during the Bülent situation. Shouldn’t he, at the very least, have given her the benefit of the doubt during the chemical issue caused by Alper, knowing how passionate she was about the lands? With all his baggage, why is it solely on her to double-check and clarify things with him? Sure, maybe she shouldn’t have run away at the start of Season 2, but even he admitted to his wrongs during the RT. So, why can’t she build her own narrative, assuming he’s been lying to her all along? She even questions whether he orchestrated their first encounter, making the foundation of their relationship-hate or not-shaky. Can something like that be easily brushed off? Would any woman with self-respect be able to forgive this web of lies so quickly? His constant push for her to give up her revenge and be with him-how is that fair? Then today’s episode… his outburst in the workshop, the rage in that final scene-it was entirely uncalled for. Her disbelief and fear were written all over her face. This will inevitably damage their relationship even more, especially for Zeynep. Yes, they’ll reconcile eventually, but it won’t be easy or quick. What do you think? Does this make sense?

That’s cruelty disguised as righteousness, which is just so frustrating! It's also deeply problematic that the responsibility for communication always seems to fall on Zeynep. Sure, she may have made mistakes, but shouldn't he also be more open and vulnerable, considering his own admissions of fault during the RT? Her questioning the foundation of their relationship feels valid, especially if she suspects lies from the very start. And any woman with self-respect would absolutely struggle to forgive such manipulation and deceit. You can’t just sweep something like that under the rug! And then, today's episode… my heart broke during that final scene in the workshop. His rage? Totally out of line. The fear in Zeynep’s eyes-the damage done there will take time to heal. Zeynep deserves better than this cycle of hurt, but will he be able to rise above his own demons to give her the peace she craves? That’s the real question!

Every disgusting and insulting thing he did or said was immediately forgiven because he was "coerced into believing" that she is his enemy, BUT when SHE gets angry because she is ACTUALLY HURT BY HER LOVER, people are quick to call her crazy and blame her. How do these people expect someone to behave after being HURT like that. What these people fail to understand is that Zeynep isn't mad at him BECAUSE of the REVENGE, but because he LIED to her. And I think she has every right. And yes, she has a stronger moral compass than Halil ever had. Even if she destroyed the daggers by mistake, she immediately regretted it and tried to fix them, whereas Halil has destroyed and broken things that were precious to Zeynep multiple times and never regretted until he knew about her innocence. And what I really hate is that instead of asking Zeynep for forgiveness, Halil has taken it as a challenge to MAKE her forgive him, even by force and deceit. From S1 till now, there have been multiple instances where we can clearly witness how she FEARS him and is SCARED of his reactions. How can anyone justify this behaviour?! How is it normal to FEAR the person you LOVE?! Yes, she feels safe with him WHEN she is in danger, etc. and yes, he always rescues her. BUT, when they are alone, there's always some hesitation and fear in her eyes towards him (albeit small, but it's there). I don't hate Halil just as I don't hate Zeynep. BUT people need to give her the same amount of sympathy and understanding that they gave Halil in the beginning (and even NOW) if not more, because she has every right to be angry after being so deeply hurt. All she ever did was selflessly think about her selfish family (except Selma & Grandma) and endured everything for her Grandma's sake. Now when she is FINALLY processing all her pent up emotions, she is being called crazy, selfish, ungrateful, and whatnot, which I believe is highly biased and unfair to her compared to how Halil was always defended by people. My only question to these people is: Who would YOU GUYS feel more hurt by, a STRANGER or the person you LOVE & TRUSTED??? My answer would be the latter, and that is why I think Zeynep's reactions AND actions are highly justifiable and appropriate.

Poor Zeynap she feels bad for something that happened accidentally. I do feel sorry for her for thinking that even the little anger she showed after he did she feels sorry for him. Zeynap is not at fault here. In Ep.3 he broke everything (again I sympathise with that Halil) and in Ep.6 he made her clean up (that's there the watch gets broken). Zeynap is not doing what Halil did to her. Halil tortured her. Zeynap isn't torturing him back but maintains a distance. There's a difference and it's saddening to see Zeynap is misunderstood by the viewers.

in the beginning the writers let her overreact but zeynep is abslutely right to be angry, but they should have showed a more refined revenge from zeynep because that suits her character more and yess why did the writers let halil even hurt zeynep more, why?? they wrote him way to arrogant. at some point zeynep will forgive him and like kanal7 series nothing will be talked about, halil has given (like almost any man) an absolution for everything he did, no repurcussions

I completely agree with you. Zeynep was told by him in this episode that he would destroy the field (little did he know that was setting himself up with those words). Why would Zeynep suspect anyone else when he made it clear he was not in support of how she was going about this project? She reacted to his words, but we know she did not intentionally mean to hit the glass case with the daggers. He broke her father's watch INTENTIONALLY and a glass INTENTIONALLY inches from her face... She is no where close to what he did to her in season 1.
