Even the grease they're frying it in is nowhere near hot enough.. then they dunk it into even colder grease just to make sure it's extra awful. The shape is the only thing neat about it.. but it's complete garbage.

this is a variation of Turkish dessert called “Halka Tatlısı”. It’s like churros but instead of dipped in sugary dust it gets thrown into simple syrup so it’s a lot more sweet. And you know it’s good when it has a nice crisp on the outside 🤤

In our Indian subcontinent, we have almost the very much the same thing known as Jalebi or Jilapi but we make this in a small shape and less thicker as well.
