What a great bunch of guys, so glad I got to spend some time around them in their Hall of Fame racing careers, believe I could visualize several hours of great East Tennessee moments that captures this great East Tennessee tradition, the best. In one of my conversations with Eli Gold after he recorded the introduction to our Smoky Mountain Speedway Tuesday Night Pit Stop radio show on Real Country WGAP...we followed his show on MRN, he said, "the Heart of southern stock car racing is not at Atlanta, Talladega, or even Bristol....it's at the hometown dirt tracks like Smoky Mountain, the local drivers, their teams, families....." I agree, Congratulations guys, very deserving! Billy Loope
