You attention to details is incredible. THe woodwork is beautifull. You will be scare to sail your boat. You may scratch it. Make your shower leak test before sealing glueing everything ;)

sea4see I have watched and am watching almost every boat/sailboat refit I can find on KZbin and you have to be one of my favorites. I think it is a combination of things, your dialect as you speak English is so fun to hear, my great grandparents were from near where you are doing this refit, just a combination of so many things.. thank you so much, I realize this is a lot of work not only what we see but the hours it takes to edit and publish a video.

About that head liner: When the teak deck was renewed on my boat I asked the carpenter to pay extra attention that both sides of the deck are a mirror image of each other (as the old one had some small differences). He asked me back: "Are you sure both sides are similar to begin with?!" Something never had even occured my mind before I must say! Well at least now you need to look very carefully to see a difference, so I'm happy! ;-) That is something you need to be prepared for when working on these old boats. They are hand made, literally! Sealant and installations: I have started to use standard house hold window sealant tape in many places I want to be able to take apart easily in the future. (See the cockpit speaker storm proofing video for example). Actually I did a reinstallation of one cabin window on this boat some five years ago using that tape. No leaks so far and if there will be, it's going to be the easyest repair ever! :-)

Hello true I really didn’t notice the difference before job done! But all the boat are different port to starboard .. I leave like that as was originally but what you say is true! Sealant : I used butyl on the W Hatch for that reason easy to remove without destroying the deck! I use a strong bond on.y to the mahogany stripe !!!

Hey, I would like to know how bright the ceiling lights are? the ones in my boat are very weak, almost less than a small candle. I would like to see a video once you get them all wired up and during the night to see how bright they are. the reason I ask is I am looking to replace mine so would like to know how other's work.

Prossimamente devo provvedere. Ottimo video, come sempre
@sea4see
@sea4see 4 жыл бұрын
Ciao Bruno!
@brunoubaldini6288
@brunoubaldini6288 4 жыл бұрын
@@sea4see Grazie.

@sea4see
@sea4see 4 жыл бұрын
