Launching the first Hallberg-Rassy 69. The greatest and largest Hallberg-Rassy ever.
The world premiere will be at at Boot Düsseldorf 20-28 January 2024.

Smh...'literally' would imply an empirical fact. And since taste is subjective one cannot make such a bold exaggeration. I for example, believe that the J100 is the most beautiful vessel ever produced. That said, take a look at rock legend Pete Townsend's beyond beautiful schooner that is for sale. 'Stunning' would be an understatement.

Great video - evocative, atmospheric, full of anticipation and wonder. If only the underwater lines of this vessel were half as attractive as the video production values. After one sees the underwater lines of a Contessa 32, and an Ocean 71, one can't unsee them.

Very beautiful boat for sure. I am curious though, how the cruising world puritans will receive this boat, who hold the Swedish traditional boat builders as the pinnacle of boatbuilding: You have added double rudders and with no skeg! How can you pretend that is better than a Benneteau in the same class then, with the same setup of rudders? I am not a puritan though: I look forward to see the presentation of the accommodation inside for sure and sail plan and all that.

Twin rudders is the reliable way to have full control of a modern hull shape. There is no way back to single rudders. The full range of the current Hallberg-Rassy range has twin rudders.

Stunning. Will it have the traditional hardtop or will it be more streamlined? Judging by the name of her I think the second option will be opted for. I am always divided concerning this topic. Не понятно почему строители яхт не расширяют площадь палубы на носу , сохраняя при этом обводы корпуса передней части . Очень удобно было бы для работы с якорем , парусом и тд , дополнительное пространство впереди всегда желательно и волна бы не заливала бы палубу так сильно при волнах и кренах !

Oh my watched the launch of new build tri for sailing Le Vaga and there was no connection other than it was the launching of a new boat. The professional attitude shown here makes me question the build of the Rapido. I have always had a question over Reiley what ever attitude. Safety is nonexistent.

@@MrTrapper28 No. PU stands for Polyurethane. Flexiteek is PVC based which does not meet Hallberg-Rassy´s quality standards. PU makes a proper caprail possible, and does not dry out with time. PU keeps its colour, has excellent anti slip, is machinable like wood and it is very hard to tell the difference to traditional teak.
