This one's really great. What equipment do you use? (For recording and setup in general) -Jake

Emory Jacob Thanks! To be honest, the best place to find those answers is the FAQ page of my website: it's quite thorough over there. Check it out and let me know if there's anything else you want to know.

NEW VIDEO! This is my latest version of the amazingly beautiful, ethereal, incomparable 'Hallelujah'. I've been working on a new arrangement of this tune for a while and I thought this would be a good one to re-release at this time of year. I really hope you guys enjoy it and thank you all for such wonderful support throughout 2013! 'Hallelujah' - Solo Bass - Zander Zon

That sounds super treble! i wonder what tuning you are using, and if a normal string can deal with it? anyway great version. you make that bass sing very uniquely.

monk man i want to know string thing too
@zanderzon11 жыл бұрын
monk man Thanks, guys. I'm using very light gauge strings (052 - 020). I think I'm tuned Csharp Fsharp B E. That's standard fourths so you can use the same patterns and shapes on a regular tuned bass. Hope that helps.

Nice. And that's the difference between simply a person who plays bass and a Musician who has chosen electric bass as his medium. Always a treat to hear someone who has risen head and shoulders above the crowd. Thanks. Very inspiring.
