25th Amendment Section 4: Establishes a process for the vice president and a majority of the principal officers of the executive departments or another body that Congress may designate to declare the president unable to discharge the powers and duties of the office. I'm sure they're aware of that whole process, given it was something they considered for Grump. But I'm guessing they don't want it to happen that way. They might think this is "gentler," rather than taking him down by force. Like it's "out of respect." But clearly they're not processing how horrible it looks (probably feels WAY worse for Biden), for the president's own party to gradually turn on / abandon him, one by one. Much less how that reflects to the rest of the world. I know this is only happening because they're scared. This is a prime example of how petrified everyone is of a Grump 2.0 presidency. but this is not the way to do it. They need to handle all of this in private, and at least make the appearance of a united front.. so all this messiness isn't out there for the whole world to see. It's going to cause problems for the party, the president, and our country.
