Season 6 is quite different from the first 5 seasons and unfortunately there is no excitement or sentimentality in the relationship between Abby and Evan, just routine.......So I finished the 5th season close to the end and the 6th season just by scanning it quickly. I didn't feel the need to watch. The Abby and Evan script was awful. I'm so sorry for the thoughts. Sorry. This is unfair, tragic and traumatizing to Abby and Trace fans. It must be the biggest betrayal a screenwriter can do. It is quite sad that it is disrespectful to the author of the novel. In reality, the novel didn't end that way, with Abby and Trace getting married at the end of the novel. I love Abby and Trace. In a perfect way! As in the Chesapeake Shore novel, Abby and Trace should have married, I'm so sorry. The screenwriter writes the script. The player plays. I didn't watch the episodes after the 5th season. I am really sad. I am still traumatized.
