He is an outstanding performing artist, I search out his Stations of the Cross in my daily prayers--so very extremely well done, amazingly very beautiful music, but, I tune in to his Stations of the cross (also a priest prays prayers) I am spellbound by his speaking. One thing the article got wrong, C S Lewis was NOT a Catholic. He probably should have been, but hailing from Northern Ireland and being a Protestant it might have been hard for him to consider Roman Catholicism. It wouldn’t have been a popular move. However, that does not take away from him, his wonderful Christian books and lectures. ALSO, and it’s important, Liam Neeson was a big favourite of mine UNTIL he made an ad for women, promoting their PRO-CHOICE “rights”! I’d like to know if he has changed his views on abortion. It is a pretty significant part of being a Catholic, believing in God and all that God expects of us.

On the topic of Liam Neeson and abortion. As a Catholic we are called to be pro-life and to protect the sanctity of life. Everyone makes mistakes…some in a more profound way, just look at Saint Paul…but, everyone has a chance at redemption. We don’t know if he has had a change in his heart regarding the sanctity of life and what we could be witnessing is God working on him and through at the same time. Remember: “Church is a hospital for sinners” and every Saint has a past and every sinner has a future. I did not know who Liam was. I see he was in the movie TAKEN that father, Mike Schmitz referred to on Sunday. I looked everything up and found that he is a famous actor in Ireland. There is a difference between believing abortion is murder and the nation state has a duty to protect fetal life. Morality does not equal the law, and theological positions do not necessarily correlate with political beliefs. There are some sins the government should make illegal, but it isn’t a trivial matter to prove that a particular sin should be made illegal. It’s a complicated issue.

Aren’t leftists the ones who don’t believe in forgiveness, judgement of charity, mercy and repentance? We are Catholics, and we do not hold past actions against a person when they choose to do good, and especially if it might help them to see the truth of the one holy Catholic and apostolic Church. That is to say, to not forgive is to throw away your salvation because you will not be forgiven for your sins until you forgive others. You can make excuses for why you should be able to act like a liberal and hold past things against a person, but we should all be logically consistent. Either they are wrong and thusly we should not imitate them in their foolish cancel culture, or they are right and the faith is false so decrying them is pointless. Jesús era AMOR y COMPASIÓN pura, alcanzó el estado Cristico (el estado de Ser más elevado que existe en este plano) y sólo tenemos que tener una pequeña dosis de buena voluntad para encontrarlo porque está dentro de nosotros. Hallow: I work too hard on pro-life projects to continue to support and pay for an app that now features pro-abortion proponents. I am cancelling my Hallow subscription.
