I've regrettably seen all of them, and 1 and 2 is about all you need. The scores from 1-3 are also recommended. But it all kind of falls downhill after that. After Part 2 Myers was never really a supernatural force of evil again.

It wasn't that he was a supernatural force of evil in the original, it was in the subtext. And the original is highly overrated. Personally, I liked Halloween 2 1981, Halloween Season 3 of the witch, Halloween: the Curse if Michael Myers, Halloween Ends. Everything else was either bad or damn mediocre.

This and the Gremlins retrospective are so well made! You are so underrated, it hurts. Your videos are honestly so informative and amazing. I love these. As you mentioned in the Gremlins video, I would love to see a Gremlins 2 retrospective soon, as I think Gremlins 2 is just about equal ti the first movie in my opinion. Keep being awesome!

Deff 1978 and 1981 Halloween movies are deff the start of a good money Halloween movie franchise 1978 Halloween is the 1st movie I saw when I turned 7 yrs old

I'm writing that my name is Josh and i'm writing that because Halloween Ends in 2022 was Jamie Lee Curtis's last Halloween film in the Halloween franchise then i believe that they should bring back Danielle Harris as Laurie Strode's daughter Jamie Lloyd in a brand new Halloween trilogy that would ignore Halloween 5 and Halloween 6 because then Jamie Lee Curtis and Danielle Harris would both be tied at seven Halloween films in the Halloween franchise. the third and final film in the new Halloween trilogy could be released in theatres in October 2028 to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Halloween film franchise.

I dont understand why Halloween 2 wasnt released until October 30. They left a lot of money on the table. The new Halloween trilogy is hot garbage. Season of the Witch isthe best sequel in the series. As far as michael Myers sequels go, thats Halloween 2. The first three movies are stupendous. 4 isnt bad, five is aimless, qnd the producers cut of 6 is pretty alright

I agree with your assessment of the sequels, especially the new trilogy. Not looking forward to the new exorcist trilogy if its going to be anything like those new Halloween movies lol

@@courageourfrights the trailer doesnt look bad, but, its just a trailer, so just have to wait qnd see. Big budget horror movies have been pretty shit as of late
