Awesome reaction, glad you liked this movie! The next one finishes this timeline and answers most questions you had about this one. Part 6 has 2 versions... as to which one you should watch, well the producers cut is more fleshed out in the first 2 acts but the theatrical cut has a better third act. Jamie is in the next one, but the actress was replaced unfortunately.

Heres the truth about this movie at the end of Halloween 4. Jamie actually killed her mother stepmother or whatever and became the new evil. They actually killed Michael Myers off and the evil that was in him went into Jamie. The writers idea for Halloween 4 was to have Jamie be the new antagonist for the Halloween movie franchise. But the movie studio being obsessed with Michael Myers. Had the director of Halloween 5 change that ending. Basically they retconed the ending of Halloween 4 because Jamie actually killed her stepmother or whatever. Then Jamie was going to replace Michael Myers. So they had this director alter for ending of Halloween 4. To whare Jamie did not kill her mother or stepmother or whatever. Then replace the whole evil thing at Jamie had at the end of it. To whare Jamie was somehow psychically connected to Michael Myers. The director also did not like the look of the original Michael Myers house. So he figured he would replace it with that house and no one would notice but they did. Halloween 6 is connected to this movie and the fourth movie. But Halloween H2O retcons or removes Halloween 4 ,5 and 6 and goes back to the first or second movie. Then Halloween resurrection is connected to Halloween H2O. Then Halloween 2019 or 18 rectons every Halloween movie minus the very first one. Welcome to the multiple timelines that is the Halloween movie franchise. Its full of rectons and multiple timelines to choose from. But I I agree every movie franchise and TV show needs to stop when it is good an it makes sense. This is a good stopping point because you're going to enter multiple timeline territory an continuous retcon territory very quickly.

Love watching your reactions and I love the mask from Halloween 4 too. Halloween:H20 is a must see movie. And based off of your way of taking in and analyzing movies, I've also found myself thinking you'd really enjoy and give great reactions to Memento, Sunshine, Requiem for a Dream, Bug, and 28 Days Later :) Your reaction to the doctor XD

It does continue into curse of michael myers the character jamie Loyd is still in the movie but they recasted her character cuz they wanted someone older for the movie if you do watch the the next one make sure you watch the theatrical cut I personally like it better then the directors cut.

wow my man your one of the very few who like this movie i find it criminally under rated sad part of this movie is the fact it came after halloween 4 whitch is my fave sequel

Yes. Watch Halloween the curse of Michael Myers. It’s the last movie in the whole Jamie storyline. It’s just someone else playing Jamie due to a pay dispute between Danielle Harris and the higher ups. She tried to come back but they didn’t want to negotiate a salary with her so she decided not to return.

It's so refreshing to hear someone actually LIKE Part 5. Yes, you should continue because 6 is a continuation of this mystery. IMO, the franchise goes downhill after that, when it changes continuity (Part 7 is actually a decent movie but it's more of a "Scream" film than a "Halloween" film). So if you're pressed for time, you can stop after seeing Part 6 (knowing that there are two different versions of this movie).

Can’t beat Halloween. The Halloween franchise is great and I’ve always loved it since i was 9 or so and all Halloween themes movies. Nothing can come between me and Halloween 🎃 👻

They change the Myers house all the time, I imagine it's hard to get the same house over and over again after so many years.

Thats not the case because in the next Halloween movie they go back to the original Michael Myers house. Its different in this movie because the director did not like that house he wanted another house. So he made that the Michael Myers house so he figured. He would change the house and no one would notice but they did. Because in all the other Halloween movies that have the. Michael Myers house in it minus this one it is the same house. So this is the only time it is a different house for the Michael Myers. House so the director changed it because he did not like the look of the original Michael Myers house. Only there was nothing stopping him from using the original Michael Myers house he just chose not to.

Not including the remakes but the original Halloween films have multiple timelines Halloween 1,2 4 5 and 6 which ends that timeline. Then you have an alternate Laurie timeline with Halloween 1 Halloween 2 and Halloween: 20 years later. ( Skip Halloween Resurrection altogether cos it's considered the worst ) The other timeline is Halloween 1978 Halloween 2018 Halloween kills and Halloween ends.
