​​@@mckike7 well... actually (☝🏻🤓) it's the red hue in brown that makes the greens not come out bright and vibrant but instead sludgy, because they're opposites on the color wheel and it full on cancels the green out. yellow on the other hand, is a complementary color to green and it would just change the tint and maybe make it a bit more pastel green vibes? the problem this time was likely just the fact the cake batter is just too much of an opaque and dense substance for regular old food coloring green to come out as vibrant as phil imagined. it was still green this time tho! but fully agree on how funny phil's commitment to turning his halloween baking green is! my man consistent frfr LMFAO

hi hi in a completely unrelated note, I wanted to thank you danandphilbeats, lately I've been having a super hard time concentrating (big bursts of mental fogs, worries, etc etc) and having them playing in the background while I work, specially All or nothing, really helps me staying in a working concentrated mood, hope you know you're always somehow helping and adding positivity to my (our) life

Dude this is crazy nostalgic not only cause I would watch dan and phil religiously when I was 11 but at the same time i was often home alone in a keto house and i had to get really creative when i wanted a sweet treat so id often scavenge for anything sweet and try to make mug cakes and cookies and pizza im unsure ive i ever made one that was actually good but these two things combining is so nostalgic to that time

17:59 know they're close, but for some reason it's crazy to me being able to eat off not only the same spoon, BUT THE SAME SLOBBERY-ASS BITE OF CAKE AS SOMEONE without flinching. Even with my close friends/family we are NOT sharing the same bite of cake, because I feel like the cake gets all soggy when spit gets on it and it's gross 💀
