I like having a decor haul early on like this. Dollar tree has a few Halloween goodies. I picked up a cute Tree and purple light set. I don't know if I could pick a fav. I am still holding out hope for the cauldron mug. I check my at home every week. *crosses fingers!*

I get addicted to Halloween shopping. I don’t like shopping most of the time but I always look forward to seeing what they have out of Halloween. I have to pull myself back in most of the time cause I can go nuts 🥜 with all the stuff. The plant with the eyeballs is sick!! First thing I thought was it has a Tim Burton feeling to it.

You should do a dark grey spray paint on the Old Time Pottery skull, do a black wash over it, then dry brush with a lighter grey over it to make the details pop. You could do a fun diy video for it too!

No joke my favorite haul so far has been an all black Diy house-shelf kit from Michael’s. It’s in the mini section, already heavily picked through. There’s 2 versions. One looks like a Victorian with details on the roof and top. The other has a crescent moon window in the back. The shelves and design are definitely a year round find!

I found my car driving me to At Home and now I have 2 spooky gnomes living in my front yard. I've never been into garden gnomes but these definitely put a spell on me. I freaking love them! I completely agree with you about being picky on spiderweb designs! The more natural, asymmetrical ones always appeal to me wayyyy more than ones where the lines are a little thicker and more even. If you were open to a v small DIY, maybe you could spray paint the skulls on the bottom of the cake stand a glossy black. Then the contrast of the white spiderweb would stand out even more, and the skulls would be a cool detail to find, rather than looking like a separate piece stuck onto the bottom of the plate. I also really love the little willow tree behind you on the right! Reminds me of weeping willows in Victorian mourning imagery.

Yes, definitely picky about spiderwebs. I vastly prefer the more organic looking ones, off center like that, and where the webbing strands are different thicknesses.

The skull with bones on it is really interesting, I agree I would paint it black and then I would dry brush it with silver to bring out all that detail on it. It's really intricate, love that piece! 💀💜

The US always has awesome Halloween decor (sigh) New Zealand options are pretty much non existent you might get one shelf in a store and it's also just the cartooney style. Keep up the great job Jade living vicariously though your decor hunting vids can't wait for part 2

A couple years ago I bought one of those metal door knockers from Ross that's a bat, I made my husband hang it on our door and it's been there since. I love how solid they are! This year I picked up a table cloth from HomeGoods that I really like (off white checkered and skulls), and an awesome door mat (black w/ blue/purple and says Welcome Foolish Mortals) and pillow (black w/ blue/purple skull) from Big Lots. I love that mirror you picked up, and the bat chime. So many cool things. I wish I had an At Home near me!

I bought the haunted spooky house at Big lots last year but wasn’t crazy about the brownish color so I painted black 🖤 and I put a witch projector from dollar tree behind it and I love it! Also I’m running to Ross for the Bat /spider wind chimes. 🖤

I'm like you in that I'm particular about my spiderwebs! I like a mix of cute/vintage and macabre/occult halloween decor in general. My favorite piece that I've scored so far is probably one of the vintage style throw pillows from Michaels with the classic 'when witches go riding' stanza on it. But I'm dying to see what has yet to be rolled out!

You could spray paint or use ceramic paint to paint the skeleton on the base since it doesnt actually touch food it wouldn't need all the treatments done for the part that touches food.

You could use that door knocker as a towel holder in your bathroom or kitchen! I actually found a bat door knocker at the Ross I went to so they are out there! I actually also got from the same cast iron line a bat key/necklace holder and a skeleton holding two cups that I think is a candy/party dish but it is over a foot tall (!!) so I'm going to use it as a sweet ash tray for the porch. LOVED THAT LINE. I keep checking different stores to find more pieces lol.

Hey Ghoul Hey , I liked the witch on the moon . It is so vintage looking :) The thing I'm looking for isn't that spooky but brings back memories and that is anything with a certain picture of It's The Great Pumpkin ,Charlie Brown. I have a skull and crow on a book stack project to finish to. I am making myself a Halloween tablecloth and I want to make some more pillows and a runner for my antique sideboard. I picked up the skeleton version of Audrey Hepburn from At Home to go in my jewelry display in my closet. I thought her pose would be great for using to hold some rings or bracelets, and she just adds to the dark glam decor vibe of my life! I also bought their like sequin, pearl, plastic skull. It just has so much cool dimension and shimmer. I haven't figured out where it's going in my home yet, but it's year-round decor for sure!

Love the chicken foot is used in voodoo ….. love that xxl cauldron bowl. Really loving your outfit and nails are on point. Yes that’s a gorgeous skull head! But I’d worry bout staining the punch bowl where is the large Spoon serve the punch. That is a very cool lantern, I like it’s plastic not glass won’t break!
