So the thing about micheals, and im not excatly sure how true this is, but I follow someone who reviews the spooky town stuff, and apparently according to some store workers they lost a whole shipping container worth of stuff and now it rest at the bottom of the sea....and to which I say, a lotta stores would have gotten Halloween in thier warehouses back in May or start of June so I dunno

I was told by a couple of employees that New England stores have all their stuff stuck on a boat somewhere and that they’ll be getting it in mid September. They told me just here, but I’m guessing it’s more stores than just that.

As a person who use to work at Menard's, they do everything in "Phases" so that sign you saw was the date for the first "phase". Most of the first things out would be overstock from the previous year and any new product received late summer.

13:53 - There it is! That odd thingy I found face down in the middle of the pillow aisle (one of the pillow aisles anyway) and ended up buying because it was so confused as to what it wanted to be and I felt that... and also I like both distressed Fall/Halloween stuff and glitter. So I have this conflict every year from the beginning of Halloween season all the way through New Year's about which of the many aesthetics to go with and end up with a mixture of kitsch, glam, horror, nostalgia, retro, and a personal favorite... sort of a farm thing but it's more the kind of farm thing where you finally checked out the back 40 you bought with your house and behind the stubbly brown field that the neighbor offered to mow for you, you found an overgrown abandoned structure, and there's stuff in it and you have more questions than answers about why it's all there and whether it is, in fact, cursed/haunted when you decide to clean it up and use it in your house. Y'know, that one. And probably a few other aesthetics thrown in as well.

Did my own little Halloween hunting. I got some Halloween pajama shorts, and my dog a toy that’s a t-rex dressed as a Jack o Lantern. Also got a blanket yesterday with ghosts all over it that actually glow in the dark. Giggled myself right to sleep last night. But today, I went to Spirit Halloween. I love how you have a skeleton in your passenger seat, I got my Halloween blanket at Marshall’s and it’s so amazing! It’s so beautiful! It’s orange and has pumpkins, spider webs, witch hats, bats, cats, skulls and stars. My Dollar Tree has so much Halloween! They put out this adorable orange and black mini Halloween tree and I got one. I went back and they restocked but I thought I would get more next time… heck no , all gone. Hopefully they will get more. On the Kohl’s website I got the Nordic skull pan! I had Kohl’s cash and got it for 26.00 !!! I did order the Haunted Conservatory soap holder online, missed out on the wallflower plug.
