@@raqueldel3968 I also thought I was the only one until the last year or so when I’ve been more open about it. When I talk about it, occasionally someone will tell me they feel the same way! And then one person told me that seasonal affective disorder can happen in the summer, not just in the winter, which I had no idea about. Learning more about it and finding other people who feel the same way has been so helpful ♥️♥️♥️

Hey Ghoul hey🖤 HUGE unexpected spooky surprise Goodwilling this weekend...apparently they each got this MASSIVE box of brand new $0.00 zeroed out Halloween 2022 decor from HomeGoods/TJMaxx, Marshalls & Target and I kid you not - it was like digging through one of your haul videos!!! As hubs was digging I kept saying over and over "OMG Jade got that!"💀 They had the ghosties rug, those assorted Rae Dunn mugs with the toppers, several spooky pillows & blankets...only thing that sucked is, they were waaay overpriced! I did get that Nordic Wear 4 portion skull pan for $12.49 and a Jack & Sally silicone spatula w/crossbones cookie cutter for $2.49 but sadly left most of it behind cause they weren't a "steal of a deal"🎃

Yep. I got that Spooky Silver Tree Skull Candelabra weeks ago and already have my electric black tapers in it. I LOVE IT! I am bringing my Halloween stuff downstairs a little bit at a time, now. Small stuff at first, then I have to go to my storage unit and bring home the full-on Halloween Goods! Yes..I am Ghoul Guilty! We have a bull terrier named Steve, and we love the show "The New Girl." Since bull terriers are universally regarded as pig dogs, we call Steve our little piggy... and we sing the New Girl theme song as "Who's that pig? It's STEVE!" Adorable encounter today at home goods… I was in the Halloween aisles and couldn’t see the people on the other side. I hear a spooky decoration start making noise. And a little boy said “oh cut that off it’s getting me too excited for Halloween “. I had to go around aisle to see who said it, he was probably about 6 years old. I have a theory about this. I don’t live in Florida, but I live somewhere that is also extremely hot and humid. Ever since I moved here, I have become obsessed with preparing for Halloween starting in June. I never was this way before, but the summers are sooo miserable and depressing that the only way I can make it through is by focusing on October and Halloween! Yes I do make up songs for my Rotti/Heeler....Samson and he loves it! Loved the black flame led candle at....At Home. That collection does look Victorian.... pretty cool. Today at Home Goods I bought a really cool witch statue that is holding a purple crystal ball that lights up. She is awesome. 19.99. There were three different statues to choose from. Loved your candy haul too.... perfect to go with Halloween Hauls.

Of course we had to buy a few things... we also just started seeing things out at Homegoods (most repeats so far) not much yet... At Home had a little out that was new... I wish there was someone around me who shares my love of Halloween! A coworker mentioned his daughter was really into Halloween once, but when I try to bring it up I get how holidays are just a way they get us to spend money. Blah, blah, blah. I thought of Mr Skeleton yesterday when I saw a 3' skeleton in store. The Halloween section was super tiny & another shopper made one of those comments. She was friendly once I commented about how quickly items sell out, but didn't seem to be in the Spooky club.

Poor Mr. Skeleton is out here struggling with the heat like the rest of us. Trust me when I say, I don't think you'll ever not be obsessed with your baby. Mine is 15 and I'm still obsessed with her as a parent. 😅 Also, she's my little spooky Halloween buddy. I don't have anyone in my life that is as enthusiastic about Halloween and horror movies as I am, except for my daughter. She's my #1 BFF for sure.
