Very nice. My wife and I each made our own haunted dollhouse. She did it more your way. I kind of did mine opposite of yours in that I gave mine a gray/white primer that I sprayed outside, and then instead of painting it to look old, I gave the whole house a blackwash to dirty it up. I then wen and added little details with paint with more blackwash on to. We also added little nicknacks we found at Michaels. My wife did add little characters to hers.

I already have one house I bought and this would be a much cheaper second, third.... I love how limitless the possibilities are. I think I might try the little fairy lights & maybe add Dollar tree Halloween shaped lights. Thank you for another great idea!

I’m so glad you kept the Calico Critters building for your niece! I’m a fan of those, myself. The blue house is awesome with the pillars. I would live in it! We have neither Victorian nor whatever style the blue house is around here. More importantly, thanks for all the techniques to transform the house. I’m about to start my first one - so far it’s flat black.
