I love Halloween so much so I'm really excited to unbox and review this beautiful Halloween Enchantress Barbie doll from 2003. This African American version is gorgeous! I'm obsessed! My word, Eddie, that is some Barbie! I love the witch shoes she's wearing. They remind me of when my Middle School did a musical adaption of the children's book, "Miss Nelson is Missing!" during the fall of 2019, my friend's daughter (who was in 8th grade at the time) played Miss Nelson and Miss Viola Swamp. The Miss Viola Swamp costume had those sort of shoes that the Barbie you're showing. Funny how you mentioned Winifred Sanderson from Hocus Pocus (good Halloween movie), I love Bette Midler (my love for Bette Midler was inherited from my mom). She can sing as well as can act. When I watch Hocus Pocus, I look at the Sanderson Sisters as if they were female versions of The Three Stooges (Winifred is like Moe Howard, Mary is similar to Larry Fine, and Sarah is similar to Jerome "Curly" Howard...AMUCK, AMUCK, AMUCK!). I watch The Three Stooges every Saturday night on MeTV while eating my dinner (unless it's been eaten already) to unwind. Weeks ago I brought over Sun (my Korean American Girl doll, who I think is JLY #30), mostly to do photoshoots with Susan. Speaking of Susan, I'm making big preparations to do a video slideshow to celebrate the upcoming 70th birthday of Shigeru Miyamoto, which is where Susan's surname is from. I feel inclined to customize fashion dolls like Barbie, Monster High, etc., but it doesn't look very easy compared to how I've seen KZbinrs customize American Girl dolls. I often picture a doll that was once a Monster High doll with blue skin to be Helen Gravelly from Luigi's Mansion 3 (the second sequel to the Luigi's Mansion games where Mario's overshadowed brother makes like the Ghostbusters...HAHA!). It looks like American Girl has released a bunch of new TrulyMe dolls on their site, and many of them look real interesting! However, I'm trying to get Welliewishers doll Emerson so I can rename her Kim as I wish for a Vietnamese doll in my American Girl doll collection. For Halloween this year, I'm going as Nun-Chuck from Minions: The Rise of Gru. I was gonna get my neighbor Verne to be Wild Knuckles (another character in Minions: The Rise of Gru), but he had been AWOL for most of the summer, visiting his sister at the Finger Lakes. I even painted a pumpkin to look like Otto the minion in the movie! Check my KZbin channel for a video slideshow of it! -Andrea

Beautiful doll! I have the Barbie/Kelly 1998 Halloween set and the Kelly pumpkin doll. I like Mattel's Halloween dolls. To me, they are unsung heroes. In another vein, you are one of the most --- uh, adorable -- Barbie/fashion doll KZbin "influencers.

I think the dress would have been better if it was more fitted and maybe had a flare out at the bottom - like a mermaid gown/fishtail dress. Also if it was full length, her shoes are cute but I feel like the dress should touch the floor and cover her feet entirely. She does have an amazing face and make up and her hair looks so silky and shiny. I feel she should have come with a broom stick.
