I went to see Halloween Ends in cinema on Saturday, when the moment came when Laurie shoots the pumpkin the volume was sooo loud in theatre that my friend was so scared that he jumped off his seat and yelled “ son of a bitch, fuck!” The whole theatre laughed 😂😂

Mike!!! Although I didn’t quite enjoy this final installment of this trilogy, I think we can all agree that this has been a fun ride to experience! I’m glad to hear that this book has been getting great reviews. I think I’ll give it a read & see if it changes my outlook on the movie! Sometimes if I read a novelization of a movie, even if I didn’t enjoy that movie particularly, it allows me to appreciate the movie more than I initially did! The Shape cruised right past all the police and just drove wherever the heck he wanted to. I wish they would have put that in the film. I have Halloween Ends novelization. GREAT line from Laurie's expanded memoirs at bottom of PAGE 44 of the novel explains so much about the BOOGEYMAN INFECTION DISEASE (this really should have been in the movie): "THE PEOPLE OF THIS SWEET LITTLE TOWN FELL INTO A PLAGUE OF GRIEF...OF DESPAIR...OF SUSPICIAN. EVIL IS CONTAGIOUS. IT IS HANDED DOWN AND PASSED AROUND."

It's interesting that they lured Donald Pleasance back for pt6 with a promise of it being an examination of how MM had affected Haddonfield, it seems they went with that idea in this film

I'm 75% thru the novel. Interesting reading, and very hard to put down. We come to find out that the VAGABOND and Michael know each from SMITH'S GROVE. The VAGABOND (like Corey in ENDS) used to lure victims to the sewer for Michael every Halloween.

Been waiting on this! I bought it and read it the first day it came out to hopefully make me feel better after watching the movie and it worked!! Definitely prefer the book to the movie. There’s was a little something for everyone and I thought it was a great conclusion to the trilogy. I knew you’d enjoy it! Paul Brad Logan was definitely the only one with a “love letter to fans” in mind 😂 Really wish they would have shot everything that was in the novel. There’s so many scenes in the book that would have been great on screen.

I audition for six different characters and I had 3 callbacks for Halloween kills. I flew myself back-and-forth from Detroit to Wilmington North Carolina. I was so close to getting booked. I met with David Gordon Green. He was a cool guy. I literally thought I had it. David really liked me. But everything happens for a reason I also audition for Halloween Ends. It was my dream role to get this movie. My dad grew up with Mustafaa. Akkad and Syria I really wanted to tell them, but I didn’t want to name drop hopefully in the future I’ll get another shot for another Halloween franchise. I’m definitely gonna make a video on my channel about my process and what happened

even though the movie was out, I read the book first, which was why even though I liked the movie. I loved this book and i will say, the book is the superior version and would've made a far better movie, than what we got. the only thing that would've made the book even better, ( at least to me) is if it had P.O.V parts from Michael's perspective, like the 2018 and kills novelizations did.
