Yes. Not just because of precaution but also pay a respect to them as well. U hv to know that u staying someone else place and u borrow the place to stay. So u need to tell them that u staying for a night or two, to inform them. They live there way longer than we do, so we hv to respect their boundary.

Very experienced "Fa shi" from Hongkong said that the right way to knock is actually to knock vertically 3 times, top middle bottom. But I also heard that it is better not to knock because when you knock it means you acknowledge their existence and they will know you know they are there.

Do anyone hv any ghost stories to tell here? I share mine here! So u know Malaysia Genting Highland hotel is famous for the 'friends' there. Me and 2 maid(with family vacation), we stay one of the hotel. Of coz, we do the knock the door. So we do our things and hv fun after that. We back like night already, so the maids sleep. I wasn't sleepy so I play my phone. At 2am, I heard my bathroom, someone on the sink tap water. I was surprised because no one was there and both of my maid sleep already. I didn't go to c becuz I don't want to. So I jz ignore and continue play my phone. When we back home, my maid tell me that she did heard the water sounds because it near to her more but she also do the same like I do. Ignore. But I don't feel scared because I don't feel bad vibe from it. I feel like it try to tell us that we r here as well. So like let u know.

Well i have a story from ns, i was in the police and we had training at the Home Team Academy and my bunk was in Foxtrot Coy which was supposedly the most haunted coy as it was beside the training village where trainees have spotted women walking in the middle of the night from the top level of the coy. My bunk was at the first floor. The first few nights a few of us always woke up with random scratches all over our bodies and sometimes we even find long strands of hair on our beds even though all of us are literally bald. At night i often saw black figures around the bunk like on top of the cabinets or on the floors but merely thought i was my imaginations. One day i saw this large black silhouette standing beside my buddy who i thought was sleeping and i thought nothing of it until i heard him say that he felt something standing beside his bed while he was trying to sleep. Well one day i suddenly woke up while i was trying to sleep and i looked at the cabinet opposite of my bed and saw like a small black figure sitting on top of my friend's cabinet and out of surprised i said wtf out loud. I kept staring at it until it disappeared and thought nothing else of it. Then in the morning i usually woke at 4am to beat the morning people rushing to the toilet to clean themselves and felt normal. Then after washing my face and brushing my teeth i just went back to my bed to nap a little before the morning water parade. When i woke from my nap i just felt really off. I whole body especially my fingers felt tingly. I just went to water parade and suddenly the tingliness became numbness and my vision started getting darker and darker until i couldn't see anything. I couldnt see or feel anything and i could only hear the commands of the water parade ic and i just tried to drink some water when the command was given and immediately vomited. Weird thing was noone asked if i was okay or anything. After vomiting i regained my vision and i continued drinking the 500ml of water needed. Then, i didn't think much about and asked my squadmate who stood behind me if he saw me vomit and said he didn't notice anything which was weird. I then went back to the place i stood and the floor was completely dry. After talking to some of my religious friends they said that the ghost who i might've seen and acknowledged with my wtf might've tried to possess me which explains my loss of senses. But my body rejected it when i vomited cause i didn't vomit water i probably vomited the spirit and also explain why nobody noticed anything. Tbh many ppl have experienced paranormal things at my coy like the previous intake there was an indian muslim guy who was possessed and he was tied to the metal bed frame and he was so strong the bed frame snapped. There was also a story from one of the field instructors that three of them were pooping in the toilet together in three separate cubicles and the guy in the middle cubicle suddenly shouts that he sees a female's head looking at him at thw top of the cubicle. I was never one to believe in ghosts until i experienced those things. Hope you enjoyed my story haha

Do you consider playing the ouija board (successfully) 3 times, ghost stories? :) 4 of my family members (including me) played the ouija board, we put our fingers on a coin on the ouija board. The coin did move by itself to the words, whenever we asked questions. I played with my family, and my family is not the joke joke kind. And you know no one purposely pushed the coin to scare anyone because the coin moves to words so fast sometimes that each of one us at one point, our finger will not be fast enough to be on the coin.

Out of 3 spirits we communciated with, only one was aggressive and that was really very scary cos the spirit was super nice throughout the communication, until we requested for it to return to its world (that's the proper way to send spirits back to their world, so they don't stay in ours. Only after proper send back can all of our fingers leave the coin together at the same time, otherwise at least one finger will have to be on the coin at all times).

I do feel that after we played ouija board, we did encounter a lot more supernatural things/events. One of which was soon after my grandpa's passing in 2018, about 1-2 week later while I am taking a selfie in a carpark in Admiralty, I actually photographed a demon looking right at my camera. That photo is actually still up in my Instagram under highlights hahaha but my IG is private xD So can't share with you guys. Anyways after seeing an obvious jawline in my photo, i freaked tf out and drove off immediately back home and showed my mum the photo. She told me that's the exact demon she has been seeing for a few months straight in her dream, sometimes the demon even licked her face in the dream. But after my grandpa passed away, she stopped dreaming of this demon anymore. But that was when I captured its photograph in my phone. :')
