Hi guys! Welcome to Halloween Week! This is build number 3 of this years week and also a highly anticipated one. A lot of you have asked me for a graveyard or cemetery and here you go. It almost looks like a little halloween village,don't ya think?

This build is amazing! Definitely looking forward to using this sometime :3 Not sure about anywhere else but where I live in the US, graveyards are usually a lot smaller than cemeteries and don't have crypts, just headstones. Whereas cemeteries are a lot bigger with headstones and crypts.

Graveyards are a bit smaller, cemeteries are huge and usually have big memorials for the families who place them their. I know the cemetery where my grandparents are there's a huge "crypt" type thing and a big wall for all the babies that were lost and soldiers. also its not creepy to visit the children's area of a cemetery. It's actually very nice, I always do when I go there. some of them haven't been visited in a long time so I think its a really nice thing to do.

The Graveyard is amazing! Today is Day of the dead in Mexico, so I did the challenge that our sims are doing. Collecting skulls well... not skulls at all. Candies XD And my costume was Harry Potter! ;) It's common to see costumes of skulls and skelletons like in the game but it's a mix with halloween, so HP was great for me for this year XD Greetings Fry, And Congrats 20k, again! The Lion Fish squad is growing :')

Hi Fry, I don't think you're weird at all (don't worry, still love you!). Maybe some of those children haven't had any visitors in a long time or all their relatives have also passed on. It's a way of still paying respects I guess. I also think seeing a child's grave is somehow more sad.. As a mother, that would be the most devastating thing I could imagine, to lose one of my children. Love your build Fry. Superb job 😘

A graveyard is generally smaller then a cemetery and often will have a church on the property.

The words are kinda interchangeable, but typically the conatation is different. A grave yard is usually smaller, and has less plots, and the the tombstones are usually just the regular slab or just a plaque. They usually are either really just not ornate and organized or just a grid of plots. I dont know how common this is but personally I dont typically see a fence around it and they usually dont have a gaurd/constant worker. Cemeteries a larger, more organized, typically fenced in, and extremly more ornate. There are more decorative graves, like mausoleums, statues, and flowerpatches. They usally have paths or walk ways, sometimes places to sit, or even picnic tables. However, a lot of people may also use them for either, or to imply the quality of the grave yard/cemetery.

I think that the difference between a graveyard and a cemetary is that graveyards are the old ones with a church and maybe toumbs etc while cemetary is a newer burrial place that doesnt have an old church maybe just a chapel if that. :)

And here in America we usually call them either or depending on who you ask but the ones with churches are supposed to be called graveyards and the ones without are cemeteries. PS being from Savannah,Ga this build totally reminds me of Bonaventure Cemetery here which makes me love it even more!!!😄

Graveyard is closer to the religous side, where as a cemetery is done by a inderpentant souce. The cemetery might have a chapel but it isnt funded by the chruch or religion. Have a lovely day.

Where I am in Utah, in general, graveyard and cemetery are the same thing but a graveyard implies that it's smaller and older. Cemetery implies that it's a bigger space, is more modern and is owned by a funeral home that is not on the property. In the Northeast US where I'm originally from however, graveyards generally have a church and a cemetery is just lawn space devoted to graves and crypts with no chapel.

oh and I don't know if the graveyard and cemetery are different things, but in my country we have two names too, one is for when a place with graves is on the same grounds as a church, so they belong to the church, and one is a place with graves without a church, it's just a place for graves only, so yeah that's why here we have two names, but I don't know about the english ones haha ^^'

According to many sources on Google, there is a slight difference between a graveyard vs a cemetery. However, in my experience here in America, most people use the two terms interchangeably.

+Jake Mozeleski yes I know. But there are different types of ceremonies in other countries. I've seen some even "celebrate" at home in america. That's a very rare and strange thing in germany. You usually always have a funeral in a small chapel or extra room near the cemetery.

I just uploaded a new arkham asylum part a bunch of seconds ago. I am sure you will like it too! I am glad you liked this cemetery! It was so much work but also very cool to play in it. I put a DJ boot and a bar at the middle square (removed the fountain) and had the best dance party ever in the sims 4. hahaha

The main diff is a graveyard is a burial place located near or beside the church (churchyard), while a cemeteries is no where near a church.

I never use Costum Content in my builds. Just place it in your game and the objects from packs you don’t habe will either disappear or be replaced

Cemetery - Romance heritage Graveyard - Germanic heritage They both mean the exact same thing, but cemetery is a loan word from the romance/latin languages (French, Italian, Romanian, etc), and graveyard is a native English word, related to Norwegian, Dutch, German, etc.

Achtung, langer Kommentar: Gestern gab es 'ne Halloweenparty bei meiner Freundin. Halloween ist ja leider an einem Montag und damit auch der erste Schultag nach unseren Ferien, deswegen haben wir das vorgeschoben. :D Ich bin als schwarze Katze gegangen. Meine Freunde sind gekommen als Teufel, Dracula, Skull Girl, "gefallener Engel", Jeff the Killer, Freiheitskämpfer (Attack on Titan), Mario & Peach, es gab drei Jockers :D und Leute mit irgendwelchen Masken und blutverschmierten T-Shirts. Vielleicht inspiriert dich das ja zu was neuem. ^-^ Hat auf jeden Fall sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Ich finde es gar nicht so komisch, dass du Kinderfriedhöfe magst. Im Grunde genommen ist ein Friedhof einfach nur ein Park und wenn man gerne in Parks spazieren geht und so, wieso dann nicht auch auf Friedhöfen? Ich bin mir sicher unter den Toten gibt es viele, die sicher nicht wollen, dass man sie nur besucht um zu trauern. Zudem gibt es viele sehr schöne Friedhöfe. Es gibt einen ganz großen bekannten in Deutschland, der hat sozusagen verschiedene Themengebiete. ZB einen Rosengarten, Apfelbaumgarten, ein schöner Kinderfriedhof, sehr viele riesige Grabsteine, also wirklich riesig, zu denen kann man schon Felsen sagen. Dann gibt es Baumbestattungen, also wird deine Asche unter einen kleinen Baum begraben und du gibst dem Baum deine Energie. Und vor allem gibt es dort soe viele riesige wunderschöne Statuen wie man sich nur vorstellen kann. Engel, Frauen, Männer, Paare, Kinder, Skulpturen. Die meisten sahen sehr schön aus, nur eine hat mich gestört. Es war eine Frau die weinend auf einem Grab saß. Will man den wirklich auf Ewigkeit von Trauer umgeben sein, wenn man tot ist? Naja, dann gab es da auch ein Urnenraum und ein großes Denkmal für Opfer aus 1945. Wirklich sehr schön dort und riesengroß. Zum eigentlichen Video: Der Friedhof ist richtig schön geworden, mit ein paar Farbveränderungen und Austausch der Bäume könnte man daraus auch einen friedlichen Friedhof machen. ^-^ Mir gefällt, dass du auch ein Kinderfriedhof gebaut hast. Und die Kirche sieht richtig Hammer aus, auch wenn sie so klein ist!

+DebakelchenYo ich möchte auch viel lieber ein fröhliches Grab haben. Insofern es denn möglich ist natürlich. Ich mag es immer sehr auf Friedhöfen spazieren zu gehen. Wir haben hier auch einige die mit verschuedenengärten ausgetattet sind und es ist immer wunderschön. Wie ein Park halt. Ich freue mich sehr über deinen langen Kommentar. Sonst sind sie ja alle eher kurzgehalten. Ich glaube ich gehe wieder als Rotkäppchen und mache mir so bissspuren und sowas an den körper. Dann hat mich der böse Wolf halt schon angegriffen😂

The fog are the steam emitters for the pool. I don't want to say anything wrong here, but I guess you get them with the City Living pack.

Well a graveyard is the land and the cemetery is the institution, so graveyards are in cemeteries, the cemetery is the graveyard + the business itself and the administration

The word cemetery originates from the Greek word ''κοιμητήριο'' which means the place of rest. I think that the word cemetery is more beautiful and meaningful than graveyard but hey, I'm Greek so I'm bound to like it more XD
