Imagine if EA brought this into the game for real? Yes they would have to bring us cars first... Camper vans that you could move to different locations without 'moving house' would be next level!

Yes! I'm not a fan of cars themselves since we don't even have an open world like in sims 3. However a camper that spawns next to a lot on the street or whatever would be great. I don't need an animation for it to see it drive somewhere, but like us said without all the moving house shenaninigans it would be great!

Oh I love sci-fi! I'm always bummed out we don#t have that many sci-fi stuff in the game and if we do they are ridiculously overpriced. But this intrigues me a lot. I wrote it down and maybe I can make it work.

Absolutely amazing what you can do without custom content. If I am going to use it, I will try to make the living space just a tiny bit bigger to suit 2 sims. But I don't want to ruin the fantastic interior you created. I love the details like the functional headlights and matching licence plates.

Use the build however you want. I always encourage to make it fit everyones playstyle. I tested a bit with this camper. You can make this even bigger by just extending the camper room. Maybe you have to put the back tires a bit more to the back for it to still have that car look. Anything else is just tiny hom interior shenanigangs with lots of playtesting. but that becomes more and more redundant the bigger that "room" gets. Happy this inspired you and good luck costumizing!

I love the detail of the decals on the back. That is SO realistic. People do that all the time! They might be access ports or hatches for the plumbing and electical access. You were completely understandable though. I can't imagine having to come up with car part names in another language. Chassis was perfect! The whole build (Fry 9000?)was a fine piece of German engineering! Loved this whole video, the voiceover most of all. My dad was German, and I miss hearing his accent. It's music to my ears. Thanks for a lovely melody today!

Awww your comment made me so happy! Always weirded out about my voiceover and I'm never really satisfied since it always isn't as fluent and excited how I want it to sound. But I get better with every video. I honestly don't even know car part names in German. That's how oblivious I am to all this. So when it comes to stereotypes I can't fulfill that. However I even the score with beer terms. So I have that going for me (: .Very happy you like the video and that it brightened your day. Hugs from Germany!

I honestly for all of those unique starters now have watched a lot of very different youtube videos and documentaries to get a feel for these places/builds For this camper I watched a ton of comercials and tech videos about campers from either car manufacturers or just van life influencers. I should have paid more attention to the words they use for all of these extras and parts a camper has. oh well! Very happy you like it!

Costumizing it is the most fun I had in years of building in this game. Really made me think about what sims would have what kind of camper and where they would go. ahhh, creativity flows just right.

I do like some of the items in this kit (Especially the computer tower which we have never gotten before, the computer, the alarm clock and the sims francise themed items) which is why I purchased it. However I do wish that there were more color variation, they should of had some vibrant or deeper colors in there as well, I'm kind of over the whole washed out pastel swatches they have done lately.

Yeah I also would have liked more color variations. I get that we can't have ALL color combinations that there are in the franchise. Ughh I want a color wheel so bad. This would solve like 80percent of all our sims 4 build problems for sure.

I totally agree. And this is why I wouldn't have tackled a camper build if tokidokisimmer didn't suggest it. It took me a long time I didn't record just figuring out which front car to use and how big to make it (with tool mod) to make it look proportional. I think in the sims 4 it's hard to get the proportions just right. If the proportions are off on any build it you can decorate it realistically how much you want, it will still look weird and off somehow. So I'm very happy for your comment as I myself wasn't super sure if I nailed it just right.

A boathouse is possible for a sulani sort of build because I can just plop it into the water on the waterfront lots. However canal boathouse means there is a canal I have to build for it and everything around and I don't think I can make it starter. However I wrote down your creative suggestion and maybe I can see what i can do when inspiration strikes. Thanks so much =)

Thank you for uploading. My Day was really stressful and I really needed a little distraction. A Starter home ... how about an Underground Bunker for Preppers? With a Mushroom Farm for Food? It could be funny and the Stuff from strangerville could come in Handy... As an additional Challenge, build on the smallest Lot in Strangerville. ^^ Sorry I watched one of Devon Bumpkin's Challenge Videos where he only uses the Styled Rooms and he got that Bunker-Bedroom from Strangerville and I had to laugh so hard, it was so funny.😂 That's how I got this Idea.

Omg Fry you nailed this to a T!! RV parks have become a huge thing in Texas where I live. There’s campers to bigger RV’s and they make a little community of their own. I love this. There is a documentary here on youtube about a woman living in a medieval watchtower somewhere in Germany (can’t remember when). It was cluttered and so cozy, maybe you can recreate it? Of course, it cannot be a starter home.

Yes! Me too! I created some totally different sims and then costumised this starter camper to their looks and personality. It was so fun. so I totally get what you mean. usually I just build and upload the build and then that's it. however this was fun to just play around a little further.

I get it, it's an awkward lot for a normal house no street but too close to the town for a log cabin. I think the tower is a great compromise.
