Halloween H20 Fanedit Trailer

This fan edit attempted to bring H20 closer in tone to its predecessors, Halloween and Halloween II.

I have watched this fan edit a few times now and overall I think it is a great improvement over the original. The choices for added or removed material fit really well. The only small nitpicks I have are not the editors fault but more to do with the source material. The TV cut footage is not up to par with the rest of the film, but he clearly stated in the description on fanedit.org. Also a few parts where the sound track was replaced it seems like the foley is missing(footsteps, breathing, frightened whimpers and stuff like that). I assume that to replace the soundtrack the foley had to go with the original soundtrack so that's understandable. The last thing that sort of stood out to me was the second time Laurie stabbed Michael towards the end of the movie. I think that was about the best the editor could do with the footage he had but it does stand out just a little bit. Even with these slight nitpicks(none of which could be avoided) the edits greatly improved my enjoyment of the film and it is now my preferred cut of the film. Thanks for all of the hard work P.L.!

+Timothy Coyle Thanks, glad you liked it! I agree about your observations and, with the exception of the TV footage, I think I could edit things a little better since then. I'm thinking of doing an HD version that will fix or improve on these flaws.

Oh no problem, but I didn't just like it I loved it. I watched my theatrical cut dvd years ago and have not touched it since. This version will get more play. I will try to force a few friends to watch it as well. If you ever get around to doing an hd version I would love to see it!

+P.L. Boucher If you are going to re-edit this i have a few suggestions that might make it better. Would you be able to recolor some of the nighttime scenes to have more of a blue tone to them kind of like how the lighting was in Halloween 1 and some how black out the eyes on the mask. that was on of the elements that i hated about this film was how you could always see his eyes.
