Glad I saw your video! Was actually able to still purchase frequent fear plus passes. Here I am at 12:30 am freaking out. It said they were sold out and took the chance. Was able to purchase them. Not sure if they are allowing passholders to still purchase through the app. Don’t know how it worked but grateful I got them. Thanks for the heads up!

So the passes are all available, thankfully, but the express is just sold out so far for the passes (minus rush of fear)

Thank you for sharing this. I hope you are right. My husband and I have been coming since 2009 and always got this ticket as of 2010 I think. I saw them go on sale at 5am but I figured I had a few days to get them was gonna get them soon. I was so crushed when this happened. I almost cried, now I’m mad. We split stay including hard rock every year and go all the nights we can. This year we were gonna do 7 at hhn. It’s more cost effective for us to do the ultimate than it is to pay per day. I am always ready to shell out the 2K for us as this is what we look forward to all year. If this doesn’t come back we will probably only go 3 or 4 nights and possibly cancel the hard rock. It’s not worth it to me to pay for the hard rock if we aren’t going to hhn every night it’s available, the cost to me gets worth it when we walk back at night exhausted. On top of that if it doesn’t come back we will be extending our time at Disney cause I’m pissed off at universal. I’ve been a fan of universal since I was 5 years old and don’t think I’ve ever been this mad at them before. I know we can pay even more and do things seperate if it doesn’t come back, but to me it comes down to the principal and not getting any warning there was a change this year. I have seen a LOT of people that are upset, mostly because they thought they had at least SOME time to make a decision, talk with their significant others when they got home from work to determine what they want to do, or even if you were busy away, you missed it because it was done by like 2pm est? It is a shame, because things have been going so well, and it doesn't speak to the event itself, but the crazy limitation does seem peculiar none-the-less. And as I mentioned, I do think they will ultimately bring sales back out for the tickets with express, but the initial batch at least is not happening. So, let's hope, for the sake of many people, that they do!

I didn't have time to watch this video when it came out, but I immediately called my neighbor and he had already secured the 30 day passes for us. I'm surprised at the put out and take back in only to have it put back out? Somebody obviously did not communicate very well to the store staff. Mistakes happen, granted, but once it was out, they should have jut left it alone. I assume you get the express. Were you able to secure your passes? I am fairly certain that they are going to release more as you said. It is going to be a constant check for everyone, because I doubt they will make announcement. I can understand the limit and rightly so. However, they definitely should have made an announcement that the tiks were going on sale at such and such a day and time. $1000!!!! I can only imagine what the AP pass is going to cost with EPIC. YIKES!!!! I seem to recall the stay tik was $35., but it definitely was cheaper than this years. Be well.

I really think even some of those in management or merchandise weren't aware of what happened. So I think they tried to rectify the goofy situation that unfolded, only to revert and realize it already happened so might as well leave it. LOL. Seems like things are back on the same page, though! Glad y'all got your passes! Ya, so part of me feels like they limited the number of express passes sold, and once they release the next dump of them, people are going to flock to them like crazy since it was sold out so quick. Thus creating almost "fake demand" if that makes sense? Not saying it's fake, per se, but more inflated demand. The FOMO will hit people, and drive them to make those purchases quick. Then they can kind of rinse and repeat it a few times if they wanted, and probably sell MORE than originally anticipated. Or, I'm just theory crafting too deep lol. I thought it was $35, thankfully the passes include basically stay & scream, but even still, that's quite the jump. They may be trying to limit people from doing too much too quick, and trying to space the event out more throughout the night? And man... Epic tickets are a HOTTTT topic right now. Everything I'm reading has people very mad, but I'm staying hopeful and optimistic. Passes are something I'm VERY nervous about. I've got a gut feeling we aren't going to have passholder options at the start of Epic, and it's going to bum a lot of people out. Once again, just speculating, but if they're ok only doing 3 day+ tickets (from what's being said) and only getting one day at Epic, what makes anyone think they'd allow passholders to get in there multiple times upon opening. They love their passholders, but I still find it hard to believe we're getting in on time. Unless they do some weird like AP previews a month before opening and let everyone get in a month early to experience it, and then you're like cut off for a month or two? I don't know lol. Will be interesting!

@@Dillon.Thomas We were talking abou this further, and I'm thinking when they sell the passes, they need to assume that the person is going to be there every single night, in our case 30 days. While it is possible, I wonder how many people "actually" use it every single night - we come close, but I don't think we have ever used it fully (which is why we don't get the 40 night). By limiting the tickets, they have an idea of how many spots they have to hold for the pass holders, and now they can sell the single night passes to make up the difference (which is probably better in a way as they cost more, so they probably wouldn't lose money). Just a random thought. Be well.

@@Sir-Ray Hmmm, I feel like that kind of makes sense, actually. I wonder if there's just more thought process going into things right now, and they don't know how they want to approach it yet. It'll be interesting to see what they ultimate come up with, but I'm sure it's going to be something they need to have a good balance of how numbers will look + how to make money haha.

I was Ted to get rush of fear with express but 600 is insane. I’ll take my chances like last year cause I did all 10 houses on opening night with no express just gotta plan ahead

@@sarcasticbrad5759 it's definitely doable without express if you plan it out and stay all night (most of the time)! But there's the convenience of express for sure. I do think it's expensive, but the value is worth it if people opt for it. Not a necessity, per se, though!

Hey Dillion, last year UFF+Express was actually $1,080 after tax…but they def hiked it up this year. I’m glad we acted fast but I know a lot of ppl who are really upset. I’m hoping Universal will make it right and release another batch. We literally will not go w/o express.😅 And regarding last year express times, they were excellent excluding opening weekend. Opening weekend express was a hot mess 😂 but that is totally expected for opening weekend.

@krystalhalloween4575 I thought we ended up paying like 1800 for the 2 of us, but maybe I'm wrong! I do think we will have another batch for sure, but I can't say for certain obviously. But I imagine they will gauge interest and see what the numbers look like and avoid the express issues they had for opening. We didn't have any issues for opening weekend, but I know many people did, which stinks. I know a lot of people won't do their pass without it, so I guess it's time to see what happens 🙃

And I swear that is what we paid each…but idk maybe I’m tripping. I just foot the bill every year no matter how much it is. Lol

I wish Universal would have released ZERO season express passes. HHN shouldnt be your Netflix. When locals who took out second mortgages to buy express are skipping the line to going through a house for the 40th time, there are normal folks who have stood in line for an hour to to it for the first and only time

Personally I only ever go once a year, and I buy the single night express right before the event starts, and never had an issue. I'm sure every year it's only a tiny percentage of visitors that ever get lucky enough to get the frequent fear passes with express, so this is a very small number of people that would find this to be bad news. I honestly just wish Universal would add some seats randomly in the lines to the houses, I'd pay extra just to be able to sit down sometimes while waiting in those lines all night, even with the express pass lol

@evolvedant express is way more limited it seems like for now. I think they reallllyyy restricted access to monitor numbers. I do think it'll open back up at some point, but for now, I think it's a waiting game. I think if someone only goes once a year, I'd say RIP or express is the only way to go. Makes it so the night goes smoothly! I imagine they price it so not everyone buys it, otherwise it would really skew the lines haha!

Awww that’s unfortunate! I purchased a regular ticket for opening night just in case it sold out. I was planning on upgrading tomorrow so I don’t have to pay double for my frequent fear pass. Hopefully the non express doesn’t sell out. Thanks for the update Dillon!

I grabbed 2 frequent fear passes asap because the past 2 years they sold out fast. Im really shocked the ones with express passes are sold out as expensive as they were.
