I think the movie was actually pretty good except for the ending because I felt like it was really rushed at the end But the reason I like this movie is because we finally see what Lori means the more he kills the more he transcends he had for the last four years he’s been inactive barely surviving like any food any water he’s not even really killing anyone and so when we see him kill Allison‘s ex boyfriend cop we see him limping we see him weak and when we watched him stab the guy repeatedly the stronger he became I can guarantee you the only reason Lori was able to kill Michael in the end of that movie It’s because he was still weak if Michael had killed a few more people she would’ve died at the end

What I love the most about Michael Myers is that he never lost his fear factor. The movies may have varied in quality over the years but Myers himself was always scary 😨. Freddy, Jason, Chucky and all the others over time became less and less scary IMO but Michael was always consistent.

It's because of the mystique and 'anonymous, indiscriminate pure absolute evil' that The Shape represents. For me, the most genuinely disturbing, haunting and creepy depictions of Myers is the original Halloween (1978) and Halloween (2018), mostly because in these films as Carpenter described The Shape, he is human; sort of...But also part genuinely supernatural, *The Boogeyman*. So, not undead, but also not just an ordinary human psychopathic man, he is the embodiment of evil, but in an indiscriminate way where he seems almost more like a version of Death/Grim Reaper, a genuine force of nature. That to me is the most scary, eerie and creepy version of Myers, not when he's given an understandable reason for killing, like a disturbed childhood or the Cult of Thorn, but rather one day when Michael was 6 years old for a reason we'll never properly understand, like a lightswitch, he became one with pure evil, and murdered his sister, and never returned to normal. That and I'd also say Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney I feel portrayed The Shape in the best, most eerie/creepy way.

I listen to the original and it gives me that origin/ fear vibes. Then when I hear this it gives me that legacy/legend vibes if you get what I mean. Hearing this, you can hear and feel that this is the culmination of the entire history of Micheal Myers and the impact and fear he brought through history of film and the Halloween universe. While the original is like “Here is where it began.” It’s subtle and creeping. While this just impacts with history. I hope I make sense.
