I managed to pull off all the greats, Frankenstein’s Monster, his Bride, Wolfman, Mummy, Count Dracula, and Invisible Man!! It took me forever to find everything, but I’m really happy with the way it turned out!! My front yard is full of purple light and fog, and the Cemetery where it all started!! Real orange, yellow, reddness! Yes! I decorated simple. Black ceramic jack-o-lantern with purple lights on a black cord. Simple but cute! 💜🖤

I do the same thing in my kitchen and I use a pine Garland underneath everything as a base and then you can just twist all your fall leaves and fall bushes into it I also use it for Christmas time and you can also twist your lights into the Garland and it holds them steady

I did a black & white 👻& bat theme. I bought a porcelain black bat jar you put utensils in off Etsy, ghost & bat spatulas from Target. From Killstar I got Ghost jars, matching ghost mugs & black pumpkin cookie jar. I bought bat oven mits to hang up.I also have Bath & Body works whole collection that is added too.

Oh boy do I need this video today! Been a rough one! I can't decorate hardly at all this year because I have 6, 3 month old kittens running around my bedroom this year and they will destroy all my Halloween stuff.

@@Heatherofscots Thank you! It's not been easy! I grew up with animals always around, usually lots of cats! But when my kids were little we last our last kitty and had not had any pets in our lives since then. Then when we moved to Tempe AZ a neighbor moved and left their kitty behind. I don't think she was even a year old, but 2 wks into feeding her discovered she was pregnant. We now have her 2 babies living in our bedroom (they are a little over a year old now) and mama in the back room and her second litter was just one baby who is living in our kids room. And now have several stray and feral cats in our back yard that we are taking care of. Unfortunately we haven't been able to get any of the kitties fixed because it's so expensive and the TNR programs didn't that any animals during the super hot summer. Plus they are overwhelmed. We've been trying to save up to get 6 female and 4 male cats fixed, but we don't make much money and it's been a struggle. Now I have to find good homes for these 6 kittens, and don't know anyone to take them. I really wish their was someone who could help us with all this kitty stuff, because it's overwhelming!

I wanted to do a witchy theme all around my house but i went a lil off the theme because i started finding other stuff i liked but i think in the end it all still fit good together, honestly i was super stressed in the beginning trying to match everything like colors and sticking to one theme but once i started to just go with the flow of things i started feeling less stressed and happy, so i learned not everything has to match to look good sometimes 😁

I absolutely love this, decorating above the cabinets... I need more stuff though.. lol I have an idea for you that I do each year even though each year I end up buying additional items for Halloween, but after I decorate and get things where I like them, I take pics and upload them to my computer so that I have what I did the previous year and can either decorate it the same or add to it, change it etc. It helps alot!

I had to try twice to get thru your spooky kitchen because things kept interrupting. It was well worth the effort! Everything looks Spooktackular! I decided to do as much decorating in my kitchen this year as possible. I only wish I had a nice space like you do; so that I could put fall leaves, etc. up above my cabinets. It looks so cute! I also got some of the battery operated remote control twinkle lights so I could put them in my pumpkins etc. without all the hassle of climbing up and down to turn them off and on. I saw on another video where hinged 3M hooks were attached to the edge of the cabinets (on the top). They held the strands and when they came down the hooks were folded out of sight.

You need to add risers under your decor to raise it up higher from the leaves so you can see them better 😉 that's what I always do!

I think your cabinets are built like mine. The trim sticks up above the cabinet like a lip? If so, I use gutter clips like you use for Christmas lights. It allows your garland to be on the front and drape over the front but keeps it up out of the doors. I use it for leaves in the fall and frosted greenery during Christmas and it works great. A tip for future.
