Good idea to show the props running in the corner.

Very nice and clean setup, I can tell you put a lot of effort on it. On your mega tree you have 100 pixels going up and 100 going down on a zigzag, correct? No power Injection needed.

It is strand 1 is 100 strait up and then connects to strand 2 which is 100 going down. zero power injection in my show. person preference I just don't like it

Nice! 12 v everything? How many power supplies? One in each box? 300w? One falcon controlling everything?

All of our pixels are 12 volt. We use 350W power supplies' in all our boxes. We like to have on power supply for every 8 port as we tend to run 200 to 300 lights per port with zero power injection. the falcon f-16 V3 on the tree has 4 power supplies' and the Falcon f-16 V4 has 2 power supplies.

I need some help. Just starting out. Want to make sure I’m figuring this right. I see a lot of guys using multiple booster boards and power injection in a lot of their set ups. I’m looking to buy the Falcon F16V4. With 16 ports each handling 1024 pixels per port. If I keep each port at 700 or under why would I need any of that? For instance my mega tree has the most at 1,600. If I divid that between two ports will that work well? My logic says 1/2 would be 800 on each that should handle 1,024. So is it crazy to think the 1 Falcon controller has enough power to handle my own show. My show I have setup is a total of 4,500 pixels. 16 ports at 1024 per port comes to 16,384. Seems right but it also seems like 4,500 lights on one outlet is high to me. Any advise/help you could give me would be appreciated. Thank you

Thomasgapar, We are not a believer in Power injection or power balancing for a lot of reasons. You drop the max frame rate at max pixels per port, if one pixel goes out on your tree you will loose half of it till fixed where we will loose 2 strips, It is just simpler to set up without having to worry if you got your injection correctly and power draw is spread out over a few plugs and breakers. we feel that the less complexity the better adding a second or third controller in an already expensive hobby is not that much more.
