Just pointing this out so if you want to fix it you can, the word placemat reads " Placemant " in the title of the video instead of "placemat". [: your welcome! Lol

This was a good idea that you have with a placemat. Unfortunately, I have to say your back opening was very sloppy and I don't know why you would want to make an opening in the middle of this "pillow" then put black ribbon over it. You would've been better off making the slit or seam ripping at one of the side ends. Then gluing the sides together or sewing it back. Or do what you did but use only Velcro on the ends and leave off that black ribbon. Sorry.

Yeah, I'm not sure why she left an opening if she was filling it with fluff. I could understand if she was inserting an existing pillow, but even then I think it would have been best to sew or glue a zipper in instead of ribbon and velcro. But I do think the front is cute and smart way to repurpose a place mat.
