Since you used acryllic paint I would strongly recommend using an acryllic sealer over the final top to protect the paint. Aileen's acryllic paint sealer is the best I've used for any of my minis.

That before and after is pretty wild. Have you tried having it glow while wearing it? I'd imagine some black mesh/fabric or a one-way/two-way reflective surface, on the inside of the openings, with flickering LEDs slightly recessed into the sidewall (to not obstruct vision or shine directly at you) would work fairly well. I could see the wiring be a slight nuisance, and the glow might be considered tacky, but something about the flickering light gave it an eerie glow.

Ok, as always I LOVE it! I will prob buy a smaller one for just a jack-o-lantern. Joann's is great ( I LOVE the bat garland I got from them a few years ago) - but it depends on if they have much of a discount about now...$100 is steep for a plastic pumpkin!

I'm excited that I get to make two co as tumes this year because I have to work on Halloween. So I have my work friendly costume (which is just a cosplay of an a time character I like) then for a party I'm going to before Halloween, I'm going to mash a different cosplay with zombie makeup.

I wished you could've customized the jack-o-lantern's face scary, but it still looks really great with the autumn leaves and spooky colors to make the jack-o-lantern come to life. Love the jack o' lantern as carry on I was today years old when I realized the Voltaire flies coach. The mask turned out awesome that and it gave me an idea for my husband's costume he is turning a cat bed into a mushroom head mask.

Have a glass of cold water to put the burned area into. Also if you dampen your finger you will be able to touch hot glue but, only if you use absolutely soak your finger and work quickly!
