Halloween Returns (2018) - Fan Film

Even though we're in November, I spent my weekends in October binge watching fan made Halloween films w/a tub of popcorn on one side and an alcoholic beverage of my choice on the other, and I must say this is obviously one of the better fan films I've come across. The daytime color palette was gorgeous, the transition to night w/the use of shadow was atmospheric, and the camera work and direction were inspiring. The final girl was believable in her performance, and The Shape was well represented. Liked.

One of the better fan films that I've seen done on Halloween....The Shape was consistent in his movements...The mask & hair was was well presented ....Dare I say better than all of the other MM, save Nick Castle in the original & Dick Warlock from the 1981 Halloween 2 (who is my personal favorite)....Thanks!

Definitely an A for effort. Of the multitude of "Fan" made Halloween films, this is one of the better ones Ive seen

Holy Moley, I'm only half way through & had to pause it to comment that every single shot, every camera angle, every single bit of sound editing, every single consciously chosen throw back to the original films (and filming through tree branches or shrubbery) is so clearly consciously chosen!!! UGH!!! This shit is genius and I'm only halfway through watching it cuz i had to pause to finally say something!!!!

Nice job with this one. The lines were delivered smoothly. The camera work was on point. I don't buy that a small young lady like her would be able to knock Micheal over the railing like that but I didn't want her to die so I'm ok with it. You should be very proud of this film. LETS SEE A SEQUEL!
