For someone who professes to dislike sewing so much, you really do a pretty good job!!! (I'm the same way about cooking lol.) The bear's nose did turn out good! The cat is my favorite though. I'm so glad you show sewing videos - & any other projects - where you admit you aren't an expert and you forge ahead & make it - very inspiring to me to try making things I haven't done at all or very little experience with - & I'm sure inspiring to others too!!!!!

That's so funny, I'm making a vintage black cat, too! But mine's from a kit, not a cut and sew panel. I LOVE cut and sew panels, especially older ones! I saw that bear recently on ebay when I was browsing them, but agree it's very 90s, so I passed it up. But the cat! It's got that ubiquitous calico country print that was just all over the place in the 80s, and I think I need to track that one down. I'm sure the cat I'm sewing now could use a friend. And, yes, they are not necessarily toys, but "soft sculptures". At least, that's what my kit is labelled as. (And p.s., my heart swoons every time you talk to your cat! I also had a Pippin, but I lost her last year. It's such a good name for the bestest cats. It's nice to still hear it.)

These came out adorably. And I love sewing but I find I really do need to be in the right frame of mind to do it. Lately I have been doing a lot of hand sewing and because I don’t need to get everything in the universe to do embroidery it’s a lot easier for me to do.

I have a crochet pattern for a pumpkin teddy bear and a pumpkin cow! Now I really wanna crochet them after seeing your sewn ones! I hope to come across cool sewing things like this at the thrift stores I go to!

These are so cute! I had never seen these types of patterns/projects until you showed them in a previous video, and now I wish they sold them in stores again! I think something like the cat would be great for a beginner. That being said, I hope we’re able to get more Pippin (and possibly Morty and Totoro) Cam in the future. 💕

ET also freaks me out as a kid 😭 my siblings would torment me by pointing their fingers at me and doing the et phone home bit. My sister also told me ET lived in our closet so I barely went in it for years and it had to stay shut always
