I’ve been doing tapestry sweater by snipping off every time I color changed and then tying a double knot with the end of the last color and the start of the next color 💀

Michelle, could you send the link to the video for the different way of making the jacket. It's not a hexagon, but a pentagon, and I would like to learn for myself. Thanks. I do like your video. I've been crocheting for many years, and sometimes you have to frog it multiple times to make it right. Kudos!

This makes me feel a little better cause I've reused the same yarn 3 times bc I didnt like the end project which were 2 different pullover sweaters 😅 I'm trying for a hexagon carigan but I'm taking a pause on it 😅

I love the colors and buttons so much!! Im glad you restarted it until you liked it cause then you have something you like better. Also its called an extended hexagon cardigan when it starts with the longer side.

hahahaha omfg no joke I went through the EXACT same process doing the shirt I'm working on now 😂 that is too funny. I even have the last square attempt I started before I did the long tail one staring at me while I write this 👀 lmao

I'm literally sitting here with 4 different starts to a raglan crochet sweater and honestly... I really needed to see all the different attempts you had to do with yours hahaha getting projects to look -just- how you want them really is a process

Frogging absolutely DESTROYS my motivation to finish something, and I wish it didn’t. I decided to make a bag for myself for my birthday (bc all of my crochet projects are for other people) and I got to row 42 of 44. Looked at it. My finger had rope burn from the yarn. And I took 2/3 of the rows off to restart it. I’m so happy I did, but it was definitely a hard decision. 💀 but I told myself I’m gonna finish the bag come hell or high water! And this is giving me my motivation back, as always. 💕🫶

Honestly I love watching you troubleshoot issues and work it out, it’s motivating. Also I think since this has a decent percentage of natural fibre in it you should be able to wet block it and stretch it out a bit so it fits the way you want it more.

To me, summer has ended nearly a month ago, because when first chanterelles come, as well as blackcurrants get ripe, that is when autumn has started! But I also live in a place that's covered in snow like 4-6 months of the year, so I can't really speak on when the autumn starts for most. Love this project! I'm currently working on yule/holidays gifts!!

I have re-started crocheting the Taylor Swift dress 5 times because I did not know that the length grow all 4 times I chained 136 that reached my knees and when I try it on the dress reached my ankles. Help why

You have a wool content in there. You might be able to block it out to give you a little more room. Give it a good soak and pin it out wider.
@caylarivera28044 күн бұрын
Definitely suggest like a merino/cotton or linen/rayon blend if you want something that will drape off you better, and be super cooling to wear in summer. Cotton bamboo is really nice for that too, and like more of a DK weight or a sport weight for the drape factor 🧶♥️

Oh, I wish you’d have linked the video you used, though I think I know which one. If not a cotton then a cotton blend. And maybe a DK or sport. There’s also a way to decrease sleeve width pretty much from the git-go. But it looks so so perfect.

I’ll find the video and link it in the description for you😊

I’m giving the project a 9.5/10! I think it’s FANTABULOUS but I agree, lighter weight yarn would’ve been perfect. That being said, I also think it LOOKS SO SO GOOD on you BUTTONED or not! It’s VERY flattering!!! I am in love! Thank you so much for being “real” with us and showing the process - all of it; that’s me and always me, lol. It just is really reassuring to see others struggle (& frog) like I do. And the colors?! Chefs’. Kiss. (The buttons, too, of course). Thanks for another wonderful video…I feel like I’m handing out with a pal (or a daughter, I guess, as we have 4 sons older than you are! Lol). Hugs and brightest blessing from Ohio! ☺️🫶🏻🧶✌🏻🧙🏻 xxx

I DEEPLY appreciate you showing yourself restarting projects until you get them right. As a novice crocheter, you make me feel like all I need to do is try something, think about it, learn from it, and come back better. Thank you for the inspiration!
