I love how this one came out. Sometimes the most simple of things turn out the prettiest. Also, in keeping with the Halloween theme, ever though about doing a Werewolf? Werewolf handpaws are SUPER fun to sculpt :3

What I did for a furred face is I sure white tacky glue and wool or fur trimming and gently brush the face with tacky glue then brush the end of the fur some tacky glue and I use a sewing pin to push the ends down carefully to make sure it's sitting in the glue. It's a little time consuming but it works if you have the patience.

I wonder why you make the head so detailed if you cover it with fur anyway.

It helps for a couple of reasons, helps the fur to stick, helps form the shape and also helps me with fur direction.

I just see the base like: "oooh it looks so professionally made!" - and then in the final result the fur catching light interferes with the head's visual shape and even looks like some of it is getting in the eye. But maybe it's just how it looks in the video and not in real life.

Sppoookkkyyyy, but I love it. BTW I can completely understand why you don't want to show how you do certain things because it's something you came up with and having others know those secrets would be scary as well. I agree that others need to find their own way of doing things so you can keep the original idea as just your own. (As I am with my bears) But he did turn out looking awesome. great work and you keep being you with all your massive talents that I must be jealous of. :)

I have made my first art doll Head using Polymer clay. I have already painted it with acrylic paint is it safe to make a mold of this head? I have not sealed that paint or clay. Hello! It really depends on what silicone you are using, I wouldn't recommend moulding once its has already been painted as the release agent (if you use it) and the silicone would almost indefinitely ruin your paint job. There could also be a chance the silicone could have a strange reaction to your paints. Maybe test a tiny area first and see what happens.
