Fun idea- love GK's! I will say that from the blue moon GK tops, Spear Soldier has surprisingly done more than Assailant. I want to say it's because if you're playing an aggro strategy, opponents are more likely to set monsters in which Spear will gladly take. As opposed to the amount of times Assailant would come up. Just something to think about.

I could definitely see instances where piercing can be really strong. Swinging into a magician of faith or even a deko could give some really good chip damage. Thanks for pointing that out!

With the triple monarchs in the side and the Chief, I wonder if Soul Exchange is a choice here. Sure you can't be aggro that turn, but would be nice removal, too.
