Nightmare before Christmas is pretty popular in Japan. Which is probably why the Halloweentown levels in KH are always so epic, even in 3 seperate games.

Moral of the story: Always get Glide before Halloween Town, it can save your sanity in Oogie Boogie's second fight.

Donald's specialty is magic, summoning thunder with his staff. Goofy bashes the Heartless with a shield, and I believe Jack's moveset was inspired by dance movements? I don't remember that exactly.

I actually have one problem with this level, the dang lighting. I can't tell if I'm going into a corner or down a path, and it gets quite annoying when your trying to finish, but I think I lost my save file around the time I fought Oogie... yeah that kinda stopped the game for me.

This looks like a pretty lively game. I've only seen a walkthrough of the Oogie's Revenge game, but the Halloween Town setting here looks quite a bit different than the one in the other game. Btw, how do Donald, Goofy, and Jack Skellington fight off the Heartless here? The attention is centered on Sora, and the "camera" moves around too much for me to see what the others are doing.

More often than not the residents of the worlds are better party members than Donald and Goofy in Kingdom Hearts. Donald is a red mage, Goofy is the second physical attacker when here, Jack three basic elemental FF magic: Fire, Ice, Lightning as well fighting with his fists-but he can receive damage as much he can deal it, both physical and magical. Jack appears in KH games pretty often, 4 games.
