So awesome and easier since you don't have to manipulate the marble in the water as much. Excellent video, thanks!

Great nail des8gh. I love the idea of the witch's tights and you executed it perfectly. I would never have thought a water marble would look like tights" but the little bit of arc that comes from attaching the rings to the side of the cup gives the tights a realistic curve that would come from circling a leg. Those colors you chose- LOVE them. So Witchy!

Danee Kaplan When I did this last year one of my fellow nail ladies pointed out that it looked like witches leggings and she was so spot on! Thanks so much for your comment and for watching!

I like it! Bravo! But actually, how long does the nail polish stay on? Can you tell me:)

So you repeat this whole process one nail at a time? or is there a way you can do one step to all the nails on one hand at once?
@MuckingFusser10 жыл бұрын
BookEm' I like to repeat the process so I get an even outcome but you can always dip 2-3 fingers and get more of the design on your nails :)

i have a problem. Every time I try to do water marble the polish doesn't spread out or it sinks to the bottom. Or, when I get it to work I can't draw a design in it bcs the polish is already all crinkly and dry! PLZZZZ HELP!

sydney knott Sweetheart, anything could be causing these issues from the brand of polish to the temperature of the water. Make sure you're going through all of the necessary steps as far as prepping your nail goes. Make sure to have a base as well, it helps the polish stick better. Make sure you're also using filtered, room temperature water. The polish part, well it's a trail and error process. Don't hold the brush too high above the water, it will just break the surface and the drop of polish will sink. Try holding the brush closer to the surface, you decrease the chances of sinking. If it doesn't spread, your surface may not be clean enough or the polish just isn't suited well for marbling. Some polishes simply just won't work. Cream type polishes also seem to have a higher chance of spreading well and not drying out too soon. Do some research on what the best brands for this process is, you'd be surprised how much asking and snooping will help. And finally, practice makes perfect! Keep trying!

sydney knott Also, make sure you're using a small dish for your water. See, she's using a dixie cup, they're a great size for this. If your dish is too large, the polish spreads too much and dries a lot faster. :)

Tater Bear thank you, also love the idea of using a small cup. Would definitely held me save polish!

sydney knott what brands of polish are you using? Such brands as Sally Hansens hard as nails xtreme wear, OPI and Zoya all work. Also newer polishes tend to spread better and yes a small cup like the one I'm using (3 oz.) works great to help adhere your first ring and make for a much cleaner design! :)
