(This is a sharing link from my google drive)
Unzip the file, and copy the contents of the included folders into the model and material folders of your Portal 2 installation.
Use the following console commands to spawn either the open or closed model variant in game:
prop_physics_create wheatleyos/wheatleyos_closed
prop_physics_create wheatleyos/wheatleyos_open
You can use the bind command to bind Wheatley’Os to a key for easily accessible nourishment.
Example:
Bind “KEY” “prop_physics_create wheatleyos/wheatleyos_closed”

Thank you for making and sharing it with the community, thanks for recommending it too, and i'm glad you enjoyed the video :D it was cool too see the new bit of Aperture technology, I have to ask though, the turrets and the tremors? was that like an easter egg? would that have killed me up by the exit elevator? Thanks again dude, and of course thank you for watching and commenting too :D

@@ngeruma At the start of making this test I found out that the obs room was a world portal obs room. I never really like having those double obs rooms in my maps so I hide them most of the time and i realized that I could put things next to the obs room to like peek out to the start and finish of the map. I just added the shake, turrets, and panel to spice up the start. And the turrets would not have killed you left them alone because at the end your to high for them to see you.
@ngeruma
@ngeruma Жыл бұрын
oh that's interesting i didn't know there was a variant of the observation room with built in world portals like that, interesting too that they wouldn't of been able to shoot me, i thought i had discovered a little trick you had built into the map to trick the player just before they managed to escape. i figured a lot of people wouldn't of noticed the panel in there. having the tremor as a an actual kind of controllable mechanic could make for an interesting puzzle element, might need it's own gun or switch or something though, also will need an elaborate Aperture-esque name like "The Aperture Tectonic Destabiliser" but longer cool idea putting them outside like that too, never seen it done before
@HyperAnimates

"Cave here, if you notice tremors and some falling rocks during this next test, do not be concerned. Its an element of fear we here at Aperture use to enhance the testing experience; so if you got scared, that means it's working. Chariots chariots." Can't wait to see you play moonshine :)

First time i've ever seen one of those too, it could make for a really unique puzzle element because you effectively get 2 gels but you can only have one at a time from the same source. With a bit of model design it could be made to look really cool and like a legitimate bit of Aperture hardware. Thank you for still watching !

Hey I'm actually the creator of the gel converter item lol. It's cool to see it in a map for the first time. I've recently gone back and redone the model for every style in BEEMod (overgrown, clean, old ap, and p1) I think this map was used the very first version of the gel converter because the cube was not meant to be visible lmao. You had me dyeing when you made the cube drift off to Narnia XD. In the editor your able to make it convert into any of the 5 gel types. (between me and you, the highly scientific gel conversion therapy going on inside is actually the cube telling the dropper to turn on when it gets painted haha) but don't tell anyone! Love the vids, keep it up :D

Hey sorry for the very late reply, Thank you for making something like that and sharing it with the community, it's a very cool concept for a mechanic and feels perfectly like something Aperture would actually make. Interesting to hear that it's technically a 'simple' on off logic switch kind of thing inside. i look forward to seeing the newer models in future maps, if there's any you'd like to recommend i'd love to check them out. Really pleased you enjoyed the video and i love it when cubes randomly decide to just leave the map like that. Thank again, and of course thank you for watching and commenting too! :D

1:10 - That is the weirdest thing I've ever seen 5:51 - The game doesn't _actually_ have any proper mechanism for detecting gels, unfortunately. So the next best thing is to detect when a cube is coated in gel. Which means that it will only ever work for repulsion and propulsion gel 8:44 - Not only was the timing so tight that you couldn't _actually_ make it (you had gel on the edge of the runway instead), but also that "surprise turret" is one of the worst gimmicks ever in any sort of map :/ 11:30 - That is disappointingly poorly made, wow! There were a million different ways to have that working better 12:15 - OH MY GOD, IT'S REAL FOOOOOOOOD! Well done all around! And enjoy your Wheatley O's!
@HyperAnimates
@HyperAnimates Жыл бұрын
I get your point but this is what you get with Bee mod. And I’m just a bad map maker so I don’t know what’s good to add and what’s not so that explains the turret and the shaking at the start. :| Also you can make that runway with the grey fizzler at the start. You need to move the cube to the other button to reverse the funnel and put the gel on the fizzler but let it fall onto it and turn the fizzler on the exact moment you let the gel fall. :/
@ngeruma

1:10 Aperture Tectonic Actuators sound like a thing that really should exist in the game somehow, somewhere in the multiverse. 5:51 interesting, i figured the cube had to be important somehow it was pretty enough in there to be like an easter egg or anything, so basically the game detecting the cube getting coated was a switch to emit the blue gel from the bottom? 12:15 correct! Wheatley'Os(tm) are legally classifiable as a "Food" like substance. As always, thanks for watching!
