Im surprised that nothing got painted Pink. But yes it looks brighter and better. I would however put down a contactpaper or mat or something under the shoes on the shelfs in that cabinet just so it stays nicer for longer.😘😍💕🤗

you might wanna get some Loctite 'Ticky Tak' for that bust on your table. I saw it wobbling when you closed the drawer. It's this blue tacky stuff that keeps items from moving around but doesn't damage your surfaces. It's great for keeping things in place but easy but not mess up your items or the surface. (It's not for very heavy things though).

The entry looks so much bigger....the cabinet looks great! The only thing I would do is paint the little table in the corner with the cabinet color or the black of the mirror and chair....just a little idea ot ponder....your home is looking great!

When I first saw the Hessian colour, I wasn't sure. But once you put the brass handles and wooden legs on, it looked lovely. I'm tackling my parent's dining room and it's been taking forever with COVID. Sending you lots of love from India. Hope 2021 comes through for all of us!

This looks great! So much tidier than before! In my entry, since I now (3 1/2 years in) consider myself to be a minimalist, I only have a wooden, upholstered seat armchair, a contemporary picture, and a small rug in front of the door. At Christmas I have decor on the window sill but leave it bare the rest of the year. So its always tidy. We do have a built in coat closet and leave by the garage where we keep our waking shoes so its easier to be tidy than in English homes. I know because my husband is from London and we lived there for the first two years of our marriage. My sister-in-law lives in Southend-On-Sea and her pre-WW1 house has an added on glassed in porch around the front door which is always filled with the junk we are able to keep in the garage!

love the new look. And i know that despite best intentions we do sometimes just make clutter but it's so nice to refresh every now and then! Eg when I first bought my place, I had every thing neatly stacked etc. Now it's always a mess and I constantly have to clean up. But I am not as talented as you in making things look nice and re-doing things...

Hallway looks Fab 😊. But I would have put the handles on draw in the old holes.. Or the filler needed sanding flat and smooth before painting because you could still see the holes which spoilt the finish😕. Almost at 500,000!.. 😁

i really loved your entryway - the blackish door and the console table with nicknacks, looked so chic to me, reminded me of sex and the city. and i wanted it for my entryway too but mine is so narrow and the stuff i have...coats and shoes and because of it i get why you needed change and now it looks kinda like mine :) i would just add a painting or a photo above the chair. oh, and i have to say the music in your videos is so nice, it's like a cherry on the top, compliments and complites your style and your voice.

I have that same rug in front of my door too!! It’s folded though because it’s too big. And before that it was in my kitchen. I love it because I can throw it in the wash when it gets too dirty.

Are you ever going to paint the stairs' handrail? It's a different wood color, not a fan of that dark wood, it looks old. Loved the hallway transformation, tho! Beautiful but also useful, now you can store everyting you need in that cabinet! Lovely :)

It’s a beautiful antique mahogany and although not my favourite colour of wood I wouldn’t dare paint it as it’s original from the 1800s 😁 I’m so lucky it was still in tact when I got it. Thank you for the comment I’m so pleased that the cabinet is so useful now 🙌

Fabulous. I need to de-clutter the understairs dumping ground. Mom has said that I can have the old toy cupboard from grandma's house that I will polish and hide shoes in. I have a letter rack, picture frame to go on top.. Must admit to being slightly envious of you being able to use a drill - I wouldn't know where to start tbh.

Nice rework. Cabinet went from dull to a bright mod piece. The change in door color is more cohesive with house asthetic.
