The ghost was the first in. If you pause it at exactly the right moment at 7:53, you can see part of the ghost enter the forward unto dawn.

The reason the ghosts were there is because there is an achievement that required you to beat the game on legendary with 4 people all in ghosts.

Logicsick nah not true, the achievement came out when the legendary map pack came out. On the vanilla game from 2007 the vidmasters were non existent (Bungie never implied from the beginning that recon would be obtainable)

I am quite positive the ghost is in it. I paused it a split second after the cutscene was onscreen in slow mo, you can slightly see the very back of the ghost go into the forward unto dawns hanger. Try it yourself

Since the cutscene will place a warthog in frame even if it's only a single person making the jump in a non-warthog vehicle, I'm guessing it just delays the cutscene to try and clear the original vehicles from the frame and then spawns in a new one. If you look closely you can see the vehicles clip straight through the Forward Unto Dawn, so you'd never be able to actually see them in the next frame of the cutscene, Which might even take place in a separate location. If this is true it'd explain why you never see Johnson in the last cutscene even if you bring him with you in the warthog

This is because the cut-scenes in halo 3 use the active environment to act out in, This stops the level from needing to be loaded on every cut and makes for a smooth transition from game play to movie. the reason you can only see the mongoose and the chopper in that ending you showed us is because when the cut-scene started they where sill in the air. The warthog you see in the cut-scene is also just spawned in for that reason. had you finished the level in JUST a ghost there would still be a warthog in the cut scene; and had the warthog been last in your experiment you would have seen two in the cut-scene.

The warthog disappears and becomes a part of the cutscene. The other vehicles aren't apart of the cutscene but still show up because they're physical objects in the area. You can't see the ghost because it's too fast, and because the chopper and mongoose are slow you can see them. The warthog always has a set place in the cutscene

Generalkidd... I was playing some halo 2 (Normal and MCC) and on the last level sometimes you can pickup Tartarus's gravity hammer, it's a rare glitch because if any skulls, checkpoints were used then it will not work and you have to kill Tartarus really fast. It happened to me first on the original halo 2 but it also happened three other times in halo 2 (Halo mcc) in the old graphics. When the glitch happens the mission's ending cutscene will be delayed if the glitch is activated, I'm not sure if rally points can be used but all the times I did the glitch it was from mission start and it was using the original halo 2 graphics. if you could look into this it would be great.

Theres a way to skip over the falling platforms (Large circular ones with walls on them) with the chopper its tricky but if you get the angle right and boost at the perfect time you go straight over the wall and saves you a lot of time

All vehicles can spawn in pretty much all cutscenes, that’s pretty dope for a 2007 game. Remember I used to drive alot of vehicles to the end of Tsavo Highway and watch Chief walk through them

Lol I don't work at Microsoft, but I would certainly love to! The HoloLens you can order yourself from the Microsoft Store website. They just recently opened the orders to everyone. However, because these are Developer Editions, they weren't meant for just anyone to buy and therefore they currently cost $3000. They'll definitely get A LOT cheaper though when the Consumer Editions come out.

i have done this same thing from mission start and there were no ghosts or choppers and it was on legendary as it tok me an hour and a half to get half way up and another hour to finally open the foor, then it took me an hour of just looking for the other vehicles and not finding them

Hmm idk, I've never heard of the vehicles not showing up before. The only causes I know of are either the difficulty isn't high enough or you didn't start from the very beginning of the level. It's possible the ghosts and choppers only show up on co-op though. I've never tested it but that might be the reason why.

I have the same OCD with keeping the vehicle as healthy as possible, but even moreso I try to finish with max ammo max grenades at all points possible, to the point where I've finished and have no enemies left... (example two betrayals in Halo CE) so I go refill my rocket launcher and shotgun ammo before walking into the beam. I dunno why I just do. The only time I'm not like that is with missions like the library where I dash for the end cause that's all you can do.

The Ghosts are for the Vidmaster Challenge achievements, which would unlock you the Recon Armor. I never completed the last 2 ODST Vidmaster challenges, but I did all of the Halo 3 ones. I was in Middleschool, and half way up the temple we had to all stand around for an hour because we each individually, in our own homes, left to take showers, one at a time. It made sense back then...
