Hilarious how the devs couldn't get the marines to cross the bridge without killing themselves, so they gave up and just had them all spawn dead.

I always wondered though, how did they get outside the crash pod? Wouldn't the door stay closed until after it landed?

Feels a bit off. But definitely in the right direction. Look up "Halo 3 Combat Evolved" by Kashiera. Also.. the only thing that should not be Halo 3 style is the elites. They should remain as Halo CE ai BUT give them halo 3 elite armor skins.

Yup I've covered Halo 3 Combat Evolved and it is a great mod! But this one is more of a spin on the original rather than a 1:1 remake.
