I come back to this sometimes because it makes me feel like we got some sort of crazy long bonus DLC for Halo CE -- until I realize that's just Halo 2. It's amazing what a difference in armor can make, even in first person. Somehow such a relatively minimal change can trick my brain into seeing Halo 2 as a totally fresh game. So cool how well both games assets mesh together. CE assets even work well in 3 which is wild. Halo 2 is sort of the odd duck but that's only because the resolutions are so low and everything was so muddy and oily.

The only thing I have a gripe with- The tank should not be upside down. The chief can flip it because he's augmented by his suit, on top of the biological modifications to his body. A regular dude isn't going to flip a 60-ton mbt.

Feels a bit off. But definitely in the right direction. Look up "Halo 3 Combat Evolved" by Kashiera. Also.. the only thing that should not be Halo 3 style is the elites. They should remain as Halo CE ai BUT give them halo 3 elite armor skins.
