+Richard Wachtel Well the Mauler is only in Halo 3. I don't see why they didn't bring that and the Brute Shot into Reach like they did with the Spiker and Gravity Hammer.

Still, The Spiker was actually pretty fun to use. The Mauler was a challenge to use, considering it was like a shotgun revolver, so very inaccurate at long range, but devastating at short range.

There was so much diversity. The four grenade types, the various types of equipment, the multitude of vehicles, the variety of weapons, including new brute weapons. It just made the game that much more enjoyable to mix and match gadgets and see what the effects were. Halo 5 failed to recognize this. That's what happens when you beat down something good.

i feel you can tell they were all mixed so they sound so distinct. you could listen to like 6 of them going at once and pick out what each weapon is. i think that's what's missing the most from the sound design of the newer games

I grew up playing Halo: 3, and to this day, it’s still my favorite of all the others. Dual wielding with some of the weapons in this game is one of the coolest mechanics that Bungie added in, as they did in Halo: 2 with the Needler. I just with they did that same thing in Halo: 3. Still, Bungie really outdid themselves with their work on the first 3 games, ODST, and Reach.

fav gun of all time was probably the brute shot. never even needed ammo for the damn thing, it had a giant ass blade! i felt like a god damn gladiator when i smacked Grunts with it. (nothing more satisfying that smacking a Drone from the air as well)

Halo 5 actually have a potential to be better than Halo 4. But sadly, they make a mistake by scrapping some of the original content in Halo 5. That's why Halo 5 was even fucked up and repeating the mistake like they did on Halo 4. The impact of their mistake is even worse than Halo 4 though. That's why Halo 4 is at least still way better than 5. Damn, if 343i didn't scrapped the original content on Halo 5, it would be a potential for this game to be great again than Halo 4. Hopefully, Halo 6 will be greater and not to repeat the same mistake as Halo 4 and 5. Also, I hope Halo 6 : Infinite will bring back the classic feature from the classic Halo

Well, Halo 4 had for the most part. It's a fairly solid story, but for many it fell short in multiplayer aspect. For Halo 5, they tried their hardest to rectify the multiplayer part, but then the story fell apart(and yet after they changed the story when this game was in development. The original story was supposed to be a different things than we see now but I guaranteed it will be a potential to be good than Halo 4. Sadly, they just scrapped it).

Alpha Skilz Now that I look closer, I can kinda see how it works. The bolt handle is probably on a lock when out of ammo, so you disengage the lock by pushing it up and forward. It just doesn't look terribly dynamic as reload animations go.

The stock doesn’t collapse. It only looks that way because he holds a single smg with both hands and stock closer to his chest. When dual wielding, he extends his arms out. It’s further away from the perspective.
