Here's the second instalment to our Spot Tutorial series. Like The Rig there's plenty of variety with the hiding spots, some easy and some very, very hard. Enjoy!

What is HLG?:
Hidden League Gaming is a community of people who hide in Halo that started in Halo 3.

Just got into the spot above blue oven without doing a spring jump. If you take a weird running angle from top mid and do a thurst slide jump into stabilize, you hit your head/body on a rock from above and then just stabilize/ground pound long enough until your thrust comes back and thrust into the spot. Love all of your guys' videos, wish I was good enough to be able to find these spots on my own.

the one under red base i hide with flag or bomb in arena while 1 up every time i get col obj, the amount of times people get kicked from the game trying to get to me

Is there anyway you can set up like an audition to see if I could be in the next video y'all do? I'm pretty good at jumps and frequently do mischievous hiding spots in matches. Please let me know if this is possible.

Was the spot in blue caved just patched in the maintenance update?

It was semi-patched a long time ago in the Ghosts of Meridian update. Before that insta kill barriers checked once per second to see if you were in them. That barrier is pretty thin so you were able to ground pound through it and survive most of the time before it detected you. After that update they now check once every half second, which means you need to be very lucky to get through - even if you do it perfect there;s probably less than 1/10 chance that you will survive.

Thanks, I understood that, but I was wondering about the invisible barrier hide up above blue cave. I seem to instantly stop each time. Sorry for the confusion though :/

Oh my bad - I'm pretty sure it's not patched, I suggest if you're not already, try practising it in forge so you can see where the barriers are and you can see what you're hitting your head off
