That first grenade jump, Shafted Stack...I just saw that in a *coop* CE run that was done at AGDQ. Coulda sworn the runners said it was basically a coop-only trick so wasn't expecting to see that right off the bat. Even if it wasn't actually the trick that you were talking about.

It's a little bit different. In a co-op run, player 2 sticks the person doing the jump in the foot, meaning there's an extra grenade involved.

I think it was when the record was 1:03:29 but I remember Cambid had a WR pace run without no deload that could've 1:02'd with no deload and he risked it and died.

I've considered making something like this. A video where I show the routes I'd recommend for a beginner as well as time goals for each level. I don't think there's anything like that currently, though.

What about the silent cartographer trick where you bring the hog in backward and get out of the driver's seat and clip through the window? Is thay way too difficult and a segmented strat only?

It's slower. You have to kill the gold elite behind the door for plasma grenades to do stick stack. With window bump, you'd have to run up manually.

optimistic that there are probably 1-2 more BIG tricks that are completely unknown at the moment. Like, Two Betrayals Banshee out of bounds type tricks. My guess? Libraray or Halo.

Dude, I only ever managed to beat Hale Reach and Halo 4 on legendary. Been trying to do CE, but I'm currently stuck on the first room of the ship on Truth and Recon. Any tips?

Pay attention to where enemies are coming from on your motion tracker and use a grenade on each door that opens. Don’t be afraid to use the sniper rifle since there’s a bunch of ammo throughout the level. Also there’s an easy exploit you can use called backpack reloading. Basically you tap the reload button twice and switch weapons. This allows you to keep fighting while your other weapon is reloading when not in use.

I enjoy these videos. I enjoy CE Speedrunning. But, I'll be honest, as cool as they are, I don't really like out of bounds speedrun stuff. I love that the tech exists, and I know it falls under "going as fast as possible" but I always preferred in-bounds speedrunning. No, it's NOT just because i've never been good at getting out of bounds... but that does play a large part in it...
