🙌🏽🙌🏽 and it's about to get even better!! Next one up is one of my personal faves. This tour is so good because we have the songs from the genius albums that were Violator and SoFaD and the songs that came before it, and of course, Alan... After this tour this all changes... not to say that they're not still beyond amazing live; I really hope you see them next year, it's always an incredible high seeing them.

Btw. vocally, if you wish to hear maybe the best halo version there is, find a bootleg (audio only): Los Angeles 1990 Halo (and watch the first one, the audio only version)... it is otherworldly what Dave did there with his voice. All the LA 90 concert song versions are out of this world, but Halo especially!

I really like this version. It's a little bit better than the world violation tour 90's. You have to know that the audio of this concert is taken from LIEVIN (France - july the 29th 1993). Video is a mix of LIEVIN and BARCELONA for the stage and FRANKFORT for the arena and audience. There's a great version of Halo on the Condemnation Maxi cd live from MILAN 93 (4 live songs: condemnation, halo, enjoy the silence, personal jesus). Dave at his best in terms of energy. And, the next song you're gonna discover is Stripped. You're gonna be blown away. Have a good time and go on like this, it's perfect.

Halo is epic track - final section (with Mahler's 5th Symphony) strings remind me some opera final scene where well developed diva celebrate hero's battle with dragon 😂 This is best live version of this song and Devotional is pure art ❤

I had 2 extra tickets to the chicago show. If seth would have flown in i would have gave them to him instead i sold them. Floor seats.. i offered them to him

Mike I can speak for myself and say finances were the main reason why I didn’t go this tour. After COVID the cost of living here in California is insane. Sales tax is 9.5% and gas is $4.50 a gallon. This tour was the first I missed since Devotional so these reactions are so special to me.

Those chorus vocal harmonies on this one are so lush on the record that I'm surprised they are able to pull them off live here. The video shows Alan singing, and I can usually pick out his voice, because it's distinctly different than Martin and Dave's, but I'm having trouble here. I think Alan is singing the harmony vocals along with Martin, only diverging when Martin's vocal goes higher when he sings, "It will be worth it" at the end of the chorus. One of the benefits of watching a lot of your videos over a compressed period of time is that I see subtle shifts in your moods and behavior. And the videos you uploaded on July 11 and 12 of 2023 (including this one) show a more animated, energetic, almost frenetic side of you. You're moving a lot more and seem more easily excitable. It may also be enhanced by the fact that your mic is sometimes louder than the music in these videos. Do you see this too?

I love this song, one of my faves off of Violator. On this tour it sounded good but I think it`s a hard song to pull off live. I don`t really like the latter tour versions of it. I remember buying the 12" of this and it sounded so good, Daves voice it so much harder here, That 12" was on repeate for a very long time.

No official single release for Halo !? From what i know it seems that the record company made a promotional 12’’ with 2 different remix « unconfortable mix » and « hell fire bb ». Not sure if it is official promo or bootleg… is it that one you own ? However the Halo live from the Exciter tour is great too with backing girls vocals
