After leaving a research operation stationed on a remote planet, plentiful in Forerunner treasures. The Covenant ORS heavy cruiser: ‘The Judicator’ returns 3 weeks later, only to discover the research base seemingly abandoned. A special operations squad is sent down the planet’s surface to investigate the silence.

It's been a year since I released desolation... I can't thank you all enough for your overwhelming support 💜 I hope you're all doing well too. I haven't quit animating I just got lazy and took a bit too long off (again), but I am working on something now. It's not the great schism animation, though I will make that eventually. It's just a little project I'm making to slip back into the habit of animating frequently. I don't imagine it'll be much longer than 5 minutes, as it's something I want to release before Halo Infinite comes out. I agree. The beginning could have been a bit better with the walking, but after the flood showed up, I was immersed. And I don't use that word often. It might just be a lego clone, but once you get engaged you barely notice it.

It’s been a while since I saw an animation of that quality, the dialogues were incredibly well done, the music is really well mixed the sfx as well, the camera work was so good and the animation was more than on point! I really liked the story as well, that was fresh! Can’t wait for more (but I understand that I’ll have to)

This is easily my favourite stop motion to date! You clearly put SO much effort into this. The voice acting is on point, each figure has so much character and smooth little movements, the proto-gravemind is genuinely creepy. There's so many shots where ALL the characters are moving at once which makes it feel so much more real. Even little things like the infected form's head tentacles moving. Wow! The set design was great. Amazing dude, well done! 2 years well worth it haha!

I honestly can't give this enough praise! The animation was so smooth and crystal clear. The proto-gravemind was really creepy and the gore of the flood was really neat to see! Hey lads! I used new generation arms, then super glued some aluminium wire the wrist. After that I covered up the bit that connected the wire to the wrist with a putty (any air drying putty will do). Some of the tentacles I used some latex, but it's not necessary really. I'll put a tutorial on my Instagram me thinks. It's alot easier to communicate that way. So stay tuned bois

I have a heck tonne of spare arms I just added some putty to. I also used aluminium wire for the whips so I could pose them 😎

That was awesome! Loved every second of it. Glad to see a covenant themed animation for once; you don’t see those often enough. The flood were animated brilliantly. Really liked how whenever they were killed with an energy sword, they popped into many pieces. All in all, fantastic work. This was definitely worth the wait.

Alright, so clicking on this video I was just interested in what this new Halo stop motion would be and BOY WAS I NOT READY! This was just so insane and everything I wanted in a stop motion. The custom figures were very simple yet looked really good and fit really well, story was great and its sooo smooooth, its almost satisfying. The music always fit wherever it played the transitions were good and very smooth. The sound effects were the satisfying to here the classic weapon sounds, sounds were perfectly timed, and voice lines are timed well and the elites actually sounded like elites. The setting looked neat and the flood splatters looked SO good. The only thing that I have to criticize is the elite dialogue didn't exactly seem to fit the way the elite species works, but it was close enough and not a big deal. And I don't think the length of this video is praised enough, 19 minutes takes SO MUCH FREAKING WORK! So bravo, this stop motion has just so many other and small details I could praise that made everything that much better. AMAZING JOB!!!

@@sassycrocodile Okay so another small detail I'd complain is when in a "hurry" kind of situation the characters seemed to walk slow, but I know how it can be a struggle to animate that properly, and it wasn't a big deal. But as for the elites, occasionally the way they talked to each other seemed a bit on a more casual side. I can't find exactly the word I'm looking for but maybe more official? Honoring? Basically, it wasn't what the elites were saying just how they said it. I'd say to fix it change out some of the words, you could use maybe like thesaurus.com. That's really it you did a fantastic job :)

This is some great Halo megaconstrux stop motion i have seen! Personally taking a viewpoint on the Covenant side and not human (UNSC) and just a small tag team could get it done and get back to the cruiser alive. Poor grunts will be missed and the jackel was a pretty strong one, even smart. Well done! 🔥🙌🏻🤩

Damn, this stop motion never gets old. Great work. I also think that the atmosphere felt like Halo CE (my fav halo game) with the muddy ground texture like the mission 343 guilty spark along with a halo 2 style story. I also liked that there was no intense plot twist. It was simple, a team finding flood and they have to get out of here. It leaves us a lot of thought about what happened exactly. Also as a covenant preferred person, it brings me a lot happiness as covenant main stopmotions are very rare nowadays.

What is saddening that this is a masterpiece, and an insane amount of upgrade in quality, animation, editing, from your last video. Can’t believe this took 2 years to make and is so good yet it doesn’t have what it deserves. The story is absolutely stunning for stop motion. It is easy to understand and is brought to the viewer well. The climax is so sudden- the viewer would not think it’s a flood infection until that attack. The practical fx and software fx are amazing, and this has inspired me to practice stop motion with halo mega construx. I hope you are doing well and good luck with your next project.

Thanks man! The bulk of the proto gravemind was made out of plasticine, then I stuck the figure in and partialy submerged it in the plasticine. Then I coated the plasticine a couple times in some brown pigmented liquid latex. Then just dry brushed and washed it to add some definition
