This is becoming a bad series even if it wasn't connected to Halo. Like Miranda. She knows her mom and dad were on Reach. Mom shows up without dad. Miranda does not even bother to look relieved to see one of her parents alive and then ask "where is dad?". Then the ONI security lady. Like she taunts MC about a spartan team that died on Reach. Reach, like the planet that just got glassed and millions died there. Agh. I guess we aren't going to get the Pilar of Autumn either. Kwan will reveal her connection to the monitors (if the writers have not forgotten that), and she will open the Stargate that is down in the catacombs and it will lead to Halo 04. I just watched the opening of Halo CE. And it has better feeling and execution than this series.

I thought that if Quan and soren's family had died from a covenant attack while he was "arrested" that it would have been best. Then you could motivate soren to be a vengeful badass, hell take the SMG Johnson mantle even. Could of possibly saved this train wreck and we'd finally be rid of Quan

I had like little hopes for him getting his armor back this episode, but all that happened was this weird foreplay to a long distant smooching with Mackee through the artifacts again and he got his cheeks beaten for no reason. Might be a good actor, but the writing makes him so not chief, that I feel sorry for the actor's career.

No they definitely seem to be trying to do their own version of The Expanse with their main focus being on human politics, insurrectionists, etc. They even have their own Chrisjen Avasarala from Temu version in the form of Adm. Parangosky. Jimmy Rings seems more interested in fighting the UNSC than he does in fighting the Covenant that just glassed Reach and may be heading towards Earth.

The thing that got me this episode was EASILY Sorin looking though the binoculars and for ZERO REASON WHATSOEVER knows without a doubt where his son is. He literally just goes "there" and like thats it. He looks at a blank government building that is part of a MASSIVE complex, with 0 context, having only seen this random ass building on a PLANET HE NEVER KNEW EXISTED.............and just goes "there" and knows where his son his???????? Cant even call this "fan fic" because that would imply that the people that wrote this garbage are actually fans of Halo. Honestly i have no idea how they made almost 15 hours of runtime feel like less substance than a 90 minute movie. So much of whats happened is just utter, time wasting nonsense. I wouldn't even have an issue with the helmet thing, if Chief was at least stoic and duty bound like the games.
