A valuable addition to star wars lore. So far we have had Jedi Masters and Sith Lords, now we also have Cringe Lords.

All the characters dance about in the dark like extras in a wu xia drama, half of the known characters have character transplants yet again, there are deaths but no one loses an arm. Still not showing much commitment, team. All Force powers seem to switch on an off at random, or when convenient to the script. Sol can, then cannot, do force push, mind reading etc. No jedi seems to be able to resist a stun gun. Quim cannot manage to possess the minds of 5 invertebrates. More dumbness: Jecki thinks she's starring in a cop drama in some weird place called Earth, reading miranda rights to the alleged perp. Sol forgets his primary mission to neutralize the darkside force user and gain intel. For chrissakes man, at least do a Dooku on him. In the end, leaving a scene of devastation of the lore and continuity, Sol and Mae are together and Quim and Osha are together. Five out of 8 eps in and we have achieved nothing except the switch. Which Mae do we see next?? The assassin, the envious daughter, the repentant murderer, the lost cult survivor? Will the real Mae please make themselves known??

If the men just stopped listening to the women this show would be over. Master Bator had the right plan in episode 2 but X23 had her stupid plan which made things carry on. Master Squid should have ignored OSHA and ended the Sith. Even if everyone died, the remaining Jedi would investigate the death of a dozen Jesus and padawans. There is no saving canon.

Dark sode healing is actually fine and doesnt break cannon. Its anout the only thing that doesnt.

Did they not just show us Jecki in a "Lightsaber 100" class with other novices swinging a wooden katana around to learn basic moves, but then she's putting up one of the better lightsaber fights in the show? I don't know much about Star Wars canon, but ffs that's their own canon from a prior episode! Really, I don't care which side, Jedi/Sith wipes out the other, just make it stop!

Why have they relied on this generic music but then they throw in Kylo REN’s theme at the end? As a leitmotif it’s going to convince people that there’s a link between Smilo and Kylo, but beyond that- why haven’t they accessed all the other great material if they are willing to use it!? Why did Kenobi break out Battle of the Heroes for that emotionally charged (albeit pretty goofy) end fight? WTF are they doing?

I’m a fairly casual fan of the OT. I firmly believe that lore is extremely important to each fictitious world in the way that the original author set it up. I can’t imagine a true fan thinking that somebody other than the original author casually retconning the Force, for example, is completely fine and that people who are upset about it are unreasonable. That sounds like a condescending pat on the head from someone who thinks they are above petty nonsense like canon. Anybody who says that is not a true fan of anything. How would they like it if somebody messed up their favorite fictitious world? Your videos are very funny! 🙏🤣

The book is written like a history book not a narrative, so it’s difficult to really mail down characters. The fight scene at the end was brutal, in the style. It was two guys really fighting to the death and I like that. Very different than Ned and Jaime from season 1 of GOT where it was more staged. Overall this episode was great and these episodes are just flying by, it feels like 20 minutes have passed and you realize it’s over.
