5:44 Switching to your second weapon is always faster than reloading unless your using the sidekick, as it reloads (and draws) crazy fast.

Finally some positive videos from halo content creators with some constructive criticism. Plus focus on playing and getting better at game with incredible potential and a solid foundation. My feeling is 343 has nailed the gameplay, the movement (sprint, clamber, jumps), perfected the grenade throwing(underappreciated) and the physics sandbox. The vehicles are a bit uneven, they seem less impacted than other Halo games. Maybe more fragile. But my feeling is this Halo Engine with some tweaks could allow Halo to flourish in any game type ir mode. Maybe in a future video you express your thoughts on what a Halo Battle Royale could look like. Given maps on BTB or campaign the scale is certainly there. Also possible implementations of strike missions from Destiny and more robust and fleshed out versions of PVE firefight ir war zone firefight. Also your thoughts on an evolution of war zone and war zone assault. These modes were fun but never gained traction outside of Halo 5 then suffered from population droughts. Just strange after so long 343 has not revealed an ambitious new multi-player mode or evolution of some of the previous multi-player modes which took risks. Warzone was ambitious and risky. My guess is minor tweaks until the campaign is out. Firefight now could include spoilers, and next major mode has got to be May with season 2. Thanks for video

Quick tip for controller players - when jumping you actually lose aim assist. So try to avoid jumping during gunfights and work on that crouch strafe!

to add to that if you are going to jump do the jump at the end of the fight when you still have shield and mainly only then because that can make the difference between a 4 and not landing the damage to break shield while you come out on top, also adding a random crouch and direction change to ur strafe is really jarring and hard to account for on controller not sure about mnk good tip tho brotha

I've mentioned on this channel before that I'm not usually a big halo guy, but this game has been mostly incredible so far. Managed to get to Diamond 5 open and D3 solo duo with many more improvements to be made.

Big tip is crouching after the fight starts in certain gunfights dont jump early jump if the br fight is close and you can time the burst so its a body shot instead of a headshot utilize sliding around corners and walls it really lowers your player model and will hopefully cause a few missed shots from the enemy as well as giving you the chance to peak a possible angle being watched by a shock rifle or sniper rifle remember that when you start a fight close range if you can close the gap its 2 br shots or about 4 sidekick shots and a melee for a quick kill but if you are on pc and play high sense try learning the ninja/letting an enemy push when they have the advantage and jumping above them for a quick melee headshot combo I can think of loads of tips but they are all niche or just general halo tips this game especially ranked has a lot of nuances and small things that help you big time great video my friend this will help a lot of the new players coming into the game keep up the great work ❤️

Wow. I used to play competitive Halo 1&2 back in college around 05-07. I didn't even know about the icons above teammate names. You really do learn something new everyday. 🤣 I honestly haven't played any Halo games since 2 because I have built cars my whole life and I just became heavily involved in car culture. I just started playing games again about a year and a half ago when I started playing Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Hyperscape. I definitely found how rusty I am. I'm getting my ass handed to me. So this Halo Infinite Tips Series is amazing. Love your format and information delivery and how you relate the information to things everyone knows. You should look into teaching in general man. Super chill. Let's play sometime.

Regarding your teammate status indicators. I’m pretty sure the circle above their heads indicates their shield/health levels. As they take damage the circle will start to empty accordingly.

Love your comment about 4v4 they should always be tied and you should with a 4v3 100% of the time but I would say communication is also key cause in a 4v4 you can win way more then 50% of the time if you know who you all are targeting and focus fire on that one person.

I play both controller and keyboard and mouse (usually my main method) in Infinite and it's a matter of playing to either's strength (at least at the ''average'' player level). Controller: give me those BR or midrange tracking duels. KB&M: movement & quick nades for the win.

The Input method tip was useful. I went back and forth between the two and just stuck with controller. Switching back and forth like that messed with my focus I think.

if you are gonna stick with controller I suggest playing training mode with bots on spartan difficulty and playfighting turned on and find your sensitivity aim accel and other aim settings that work for all ranges theres 3 types of engagements in halo close medium and far and all of them have different aim assists on controller so perfecting your settings early in the games life will hopefully help you develop good aim and become a really well balanced player! I struggle with close range as I play a lower sensitivity in this game compared to my 8/8.5 in other halos (3.5 in infinite) I sometimes get killed because a player will strafe hard to a side or make a diagonal movement last second and I cant keep up but medium and long range I rarely struggle as I have a smooth steady sense. You will get it in time friend good luck on ur journey

Settings are quite personal to you but I can’t stress how important it is to tune down your deadzones to as low as you can on your controller as this helps drastically when you get used to it

@@rileygshep7606 if you play console and have a monitor dont go above 95 or you will struggle to find a good sense I think they didn’t account for high FOV with the console aim accel/min and max input thresholds I had to turn my FOV down and once I did my sense felt comfortable

well i dont think kbm has a big disadvantage now like in H3 pc coz the hit reg was not the best you were always gonna aim better on controler than on kbm now that the hit registration is better in halo infinite you dont need aim assist for i dunno get a kill across the map with the br

Be left stick dominant for more accuracy. Keep reticle at head hight as often as possible (map awareness x game sense). Commit to the full burst if engaging first. Count your shots up/down, be confident (don't flinch) when up. Micro adjust with right stick to ensure second bullet of fourth burst hits the head. If all shots land from the first three bursts but only one round of the fourth burst hits, the shield will break without killing the opponent. With shields down the fith burst can be more wiped at mid-close range due to the increased chance of the opponents head falling near/in-between the bullet magnetism of the burst. Perfects are more difficult with a burst weapon so counts can become less reliable at range. Become confident in try for an advantage and comfortable with a five shot kill. Use a slight pause before strafing past the center line of you and your opponent so full burst lands. Mix in step backs, faint to step back, double faints, and crouch strafing, while committing to accurate full body bursts, while micro adjusting for a precise headshot.

Halo is dead. Ya just play the same skilled people over and over on really bad maps. And if head/shots registered all the time the game would go to who ever got position first no one would die there.

As an og player in oddball you should never drop the ball.

normally true but in this game since you can’t one hit melee its better to drop the ball and help your team fight unless they are right in your face then the double melee is technically quicker than any normal attack you can pull off via no ball

@@tristenwilliams558 I agree but in infinite with sprint and slide combined with how strong teammshotting is its better to drop the ball to put shots down when u teammates are fighting unless its cqb I’ve won games in onyx because I’ll drop the ball into a corner or give it to a teammate and send shots out oddball in this game requires a lot more “ballswaps” handing the ball to a full shielded teammate while you help put out damage I just think its easier to give up a few seconds for a 2 or 3 kill scenario but in OG halo yes the team is supposed to protect the carrier its just very difficult in Infinite because of player mobility and the TTK being so low

@@tristenwilliams558 I think honestly you are a better oddball and objective player than me brother I can’t hold onto the ball I have to get that kill or help land shots otherwise I feel like I’m not playing it right even after I hit onyx I couldn’t stop myself but I normally slay during obj games anyway you can win either way I think obj players in this game will have a good time I’ve had 3 dead and we still couldn’t grab the ball because of how spawns work but the guys who can ball reset and run around with it are winning games I mean shit I lost a game that was close cuz instead of the other team slaying they all crowded around the carrier and tanked shots while trading it was honestly frustrating to deal with but very skilled I like the way competitive plays in this game just wish the ball one shotted still but thats personal preference cuz I know the melee cheese got real bad during halo 5

I will always be bitter about aim assists lol but it's not too bad because of singles. I'm diamond in both open and singles(MnK) but I seriously prefer playing against other MnK players. Way less people lasering me constantly with 4 perfect bursts
